First one is Caster playing suggestively with Saber while Shiro wanders around confused and Rin and Archer confront Caster. Then Archer betrays Rin, that scene's pretty cool. Shiro saves Rin and then they leave and he confesses to her. Second episode is them deciding to talk to Ilya, and all of Caster's back story where she's summoned by a mage I can't remember the name of who wants her to use a dragon NP. She says she can't and he goes to Kirie to get another one and then she kills him and is found by the teacher who became her master (I can't remember his name either fml). Ends with Gil and Shinji showing up at the castle and killing Ilya's two homunculous servants. Third episode is Ilya backstory, lots of creepy scenes with her mom/grail talking to her. She talks to a bunch of dead homunculi (is that the graveyard scene you were talking about?). Then she makes her pact with Berserker and it jumps to present where he gets fucked up by Gil. Ends with her getting slashes and stabbed and crawling over to Herc and drying. It looks like there's a decent amount of background information beyond what we get to see in the novel. That's kind of cool. It was one of the things that were lacking at times, especially when it comes to Caster. Let's wait and see how it turns out. It may not be all faithful to the novel, but the extra scenes don't sound bad at all. Even if they're not as good as the ones in the vn, they'll probably be nice regardless. |

| From 4chan. Maid with spear jumps at Gil on roof, he blows her arm off. Cut away to Shiro and Rin in forest. Cut back, armless maid is dead on roof with tons of swords, otherwise one is on her knees in a giant pool of blood, swords out of her back. Gil walks up to her, she says something about protecting Ilya while she has breath, he says so be it and pulls out a sword. As he swings it cuts to Ilya realizing they're dead and then she and Berserker bust through the wall into the courtyard where Gil is. |
