1- I joined MAL two years ago and I've been in this club for one and a half years;

2- I follow Argentinian League, English Premier League and Premiership, Spanish League, French League, German Bundesliga and a bit of Brazilian and Portuguese Leagues;

3- My favourite club is Boca Juniors, and my fav national team is Argentina.
By the way, I feel sympathy for some teams in the foreign leagues I mentioned.

4- Lionel Messi.

5- In Argentinian league: Carlos Bianchi, he turned Boca into a giant.
In the world: Pep Guardiola, is a natural born strategist.

6- Hard question, but I'll say with Boca Juniors 3 - 2 Velez Sarsfield (Argentinian Torneo Apertura, Round 7, 10/4/2009). It was my birthday and I went to La Bombonera with my dad. I saw Palermo scoring a header goal from 35 METERS OF DISTANCE!!

7- Captain Tsubasa (the first one). Watch it, You'll not regret.

This is how it all begins.

Well I have not been a member for atleast 2 years, but I think I will be around for a while. Yes, I do have more than 100 posts.

APPLICATION FORM

1. How long have you been a fan?

Been fan for around 13 years now. I fell in love with football after watching the world cup with my Dad when I was 7 years old and never looked back since.
2. Which football league do you follow?
I follow EPL and the La liga. I enjoy the premier league more than La liga though.
I also watch the Champions League.

2. What is your favorite club/national team?

I am an avid supporter of Chelsea FC :D
I also like Real Madrid, Bayern , PSG, Zenit ,Porto and Ajax. But mostly, a Chelsea fan above all.

I supported France till Zinedine Zidane retired, my favorite football player and a legend.

I started supporting Germany from then on, I was taken in by their football when they destroyed England 4-1 in 2010 World cup. I found the youth and the exciting football they played to be mesmerizing.
3. Who's your favorite player?

Zinedine Zidane, first and foremost. What a player.

Lampard, another legend, one of the greatest Chelsea players, his knack of being the right place at the right time is amazing o_o

then Ronaldinho for his tricks and plays :3

If it's the Messi and CR7 rivalry, I pick CR7.

4. Who's your favorite manager and why?

Jose Mourinho for obvious reasons. He created an amazing chelsea team that won the league. He came from winning the champions league with porto then went on to win it with an ageing Inter. Speaks the class of the man when you see how he dominated the Portuguese League, EPL, La Liga and the Serie A.

Excellent tactician.

Second would be Sir Alex Ferguson. I mean, just look at his achievements and how huge an influence he had on the team.. look at how they were champions and mere minnows before and after his retirement with almost the same team.

5. What's your favorite or most memorable match?

Germany winning the world cup of 2014 would be my most memorable match as I watched it with my friends at around 1AM at night to well around 4 AM. We partied and had some of the greatest time cheering for them.. as well as making fun of the Argentine fans among us.

Next would be Chelsea's 8-0 thumping of Aston Villa and also the champions league final victory over Bayer Munich.. That penalty from Drogba will be etched in my memory forever.

6. Have you watched any football anime / read any football manga? Can you recommend it?

I have watched a bit of Captain Tsubasa and Inazuma Eleven. But I dont remember much and I cant really recommend them.

I am reading Giant Killing which is about managing a underdog club in Japan and creating miracles. Totally an amazing read. Would recommend to anyone 10/10.

Also reading Angel Voice, I havent read enough to judge it or to recommend to anyone. I suppose the art looks real good, It seems like an interesting read.

1. How long have you been a fan?

5-8 years I forgot

2. Which football league do you follow?

English Premier League. Sometimes LaLiga. Any leagues City loans their players to I follow on a limited basis

2. What is your favorite club/national team?

Manchester City/Argentina
Disclaimer: No, I did not follow City just because they're rich and they win these are the reasons I like them:

  • My friends supported MU
  • I liked their colors
  • I love their colorful history, not boring like all those "Big" clubs
  • I like their fans loyalty and heart, cheering and laughing even though we were in the 3rd division, and still filling up the stadium even then in the dark times
  • They care about the fans
  • They're the people's club/Family club

3. Who's your favorite player?

Legends: Bert Trauttmann, Lev Yashin, Georgi Kinkladze.
Goalkeepers get so little credit, Trauttmann had a MotM performance in an FA cup final with a broken neck and Lev Yashin was the best goalkeeper of all time!
Kinkladze was like Silva, it was unfortunate that City was in the 3rd tier when he was in his prime

Current: Pablo Zabaleta, Joe Hart, Vincent Kompany
All top, top professionals and just bleeds sky blue, especially Zabaleta who seems to be might as well Mancunian! Best right back in the league.

4. Who's your favorite manager and why?

Mancini because he brought us our first league title in 44 years and was one heck of a funny and interesting manager! I loved his quirks and he'll always be a City legend. Klopp and AVB seems nice too, and Sherwood! Sherwood is awesome! XD

5. What's your favorite or most memorable match?

tough call. Both in the title winning season:
Manchester United 1-6 Manchester City : We showed them their place and humiliated them
Manchester City 3-2 QPR: Most awesome match of all time, down 2-1 until the final minutes and fights back to 3-2 to lift the title in the most dramatic fashion possible

Brazil 1-7 Germany was nice too lol and although I've not watched it directly, the promotion match against gillingham years ago was similar to the QPR game, and from what I've seen, the emotion in that game was simply breathtaking

6. Have you watched any football anime / read any football manga? Can you recommend it?

Yes, the legendary Captain Tsubasa. It's a great anime for any football fan. It's reasonably realistic. There are some special moves and stuff but nothing supernatural or stupid like in other anime *cough*inazuma*cough*
