| This is making me like Matsunaga-san even more. He's a responsible man and wants Shiharu to live life and gain experience because he loves her. Even if Shiharu would tell him she loves him too, I doubt he would change his mind. She is in a very important developing stage of her life right now and to restrict her at this point because of love (marriage) might be something she would regret later on. I have a lot of respect for Kouchi Kaede for not taking the popular route, but the responsible one. |

| Gay. That has to be the gayest rationalization ever. It obvious Matsunaga is slow to the point of being dim but seriously, I'll wait 10 years. You're declaring your love for someone not negotiating a mortgage! It's the same as saying you don't love her. There's no sense of urgency, no sense that you need her in your life. Hell he didn't sweep her off her feet and kiss her. It was handled with all the charm of a contract negotiation. Sign on the dotted line, now I'll see you in 10 years. I understand Kouichi Kaede had a hard time turning this story into a romantic one but come on. Give the guy a little more soul. I guess Shiharu will have to be the one to move this train forward. However, certain events in future chapters should change the time line a bit. |

| Bro, the foreshadowing makes sense now. Him visiting the grave alone and being near the jewelry shop Rio and Takeru were at. Can't ignore the age gap but as far as approaches to addressing them go, this Matsunaga's approach was really well thought out. Please make something work, you two! |
