Are there other anime with the feel and tone of Texhnolyze?

I've watched about half of Texhnolyze. Of course, one shouldn't make comments about something one haven't finished yet. But still I must say I can't help wishing there were more anime like this. So far all I say is that this is the best anime I've ever seen. The dialogue is so good, just so good and well written. I can't believe it has a 7.9 on IMDb (well, that's another matter). I really need to find another anime like this or like Monster. Could you please suggest an anime of any genre with a realistic and serious tone like Texhnolyze?

Serial Experiments Lain has similar vibes though not necessarily similar stories..

You can also try Haibane Renmei

on a much lower level,Ergo proxy

Shigurui have a similar atmosphere, very dark and slow paced.

I personally find Ergo Proxy a lot more similar to this in terms of atmosphere than Lain.

Tenshi no Tamago is great and its dark and calm atmosphere reminds me of Texhnolyze

Probably Serial Experiment Lain, but imo Ergo Proxy,
Darker than Black and Ghost in the shell had the same
overall tone and vibe
