Preparation for final battle. Mahou shoujo's mother and Hana talk. To Australian desert... by that man who shook Daichi's hand and saying what he didn't mean to.... seems like he's that spy company that wants Hana since the beginning of the series.

Teppei's love bento! lol @ them relaxing even they are in trouble. And talking about parents. Attacks with no one riding. Oh, wow.

Interesting episode.

First half was on the Tenkaido. There was some bonding time between Hana and Akari's mother. While Teppei was busy at the swimming pool with his harem, Daichi was being deceived by a Salty Dog spy called prof. Canis. They were testing the power output of the Livlasters, as well.

The second half focused on the crash landing of the Flugel capsule, carrying our heroes, in Australia. It was nice to see the Ayers rock. It seems that Teppei even got his lunch prepared by those Tenkaido girls. The action was decent, I guess. Can't believe Daichi actually managed to output 5.8 GJs from his Livlaster. Good thing that he saved Teppei though.

For the love of god Saltydog, stop talking into cups. That is the stupidest thing I have ever seen and they try to make it look so menacing. Lmao

Honestly though, this might very well be my favorite episode so far. (obviously excluding the Baku episodes.) It was well paced, had foreshadowing that wasn't awkward (A bit rushed but not awkward).

Got some character building. Not much in terms of backdrop or development, but we got some insight into their personalities that honestly I feel like could have been done a good 10 episodes ago.

The action was alright, the jump and circle blast was pretty cool, probably the most badass thing the show has done thus far.

Also Puck is very creepy. He just goes around making out and having sex with every woman around him? That is so freaky. Lmao. Even the planetary gears accidentally call him a horndog basically. That was pretty hilarious. I didn't know Computers could get insulted.

It was still a bit cartoony and predictable but the plot progression was solid. All in all, couple nitpicks out of the way, a well deserved 4/5 for this episode.

Nice bonding times between Hana and Akari's mom. They're both like daughter and mother. (^^)

Teppei is still popular with those girls! Is he dense too or pretends not to care about it? :p

I had a feeling that scientist guy was shady. "So this is the chosen hero's hand" gave away a genuine impression of what type of guy he is.

Puck's love life probably isn't running smoothly. He needs to learn a bit more about how to maintain a harem. XD

Battle segment was good. Daichi is not my favorite but his 360° laser attack was pretty amazing! Teppei is still the best pilot, imo.

Good episode. Looks like Ark Fraction has no intention of giving up on Hana. Better protect your girl well, captain!

Some mother bonding between Hana and Akaris mom, such a heartwarming scene. I knew that Professor Canis is up to something and trying to capture Hana. But damn Daichi made that final attack looked epic. Damn Teppei is injured but he has friends to help him up :D.

The recent episodes, just got a lot better. I can't wait to see the next episode.

Would have thought by now these guys could deal with some unmanned drones a lot easier than they did after all the fighting they have done against much tougher enemies. They were actually pretty close to defeat, luckily Daichi's Super 360 laser beams of death saved the day! Would like to see more fighting from Hana and definitely want these lessons Teppei is trying to teach Daichi to take effect!

That was a good episode in many ways. Good development on plot and relationships. Good contrast between Teppei's more logical and cold approach and Daichi's more reckless but brave and dunno, rightful sort of approach?

Seriously seeing Puck completelly confused as to what Moco meant there was priceless, so he took the body, became a horny bastard, and he believes it is fine to go after every freaking girl, because he can? Lol'd hard how he was puzzled at the "monkey" regard.

And Salty Dog is serious eh? Interesting to see.

good episode it has lot of development, so Livlasters are infinite source of energy once they mastered it, and looks like Daichi is closer to mastering it too

the anime leaving me more and more curious, the plot has improved a great deal, I long eager for each episode
but I think Daichi still needs more coolness to become a great protagonist and seems not to have changed his relationship with Hana, although both declaring their love to each other
more problems occur next episode, can not wait to see it ..

Loved that moment with Puck. The planetary gears usually are kinda stupid, but they were right at point there.

That battle on the other hand.. first, the tanks do not hit at all. Then two hits right after another connect, with the second immediately destroying the Nebula's leg. Even if it's supposed to be a lucky shot, it was portraited in a stupid way. Especially given how robust the Engines were in the fight with the planetary gears. Seriously, mount a tank cannon onto the space stations and the impactors, and the planetary gear won't ever set a foot on earth.

Another thing is "oh, we dropped down into a canyon of sorts, now we are trapped..oh wait, we can simply fly up, far out of the tanks range". Why didn't they do that right away? They fly all the time, but they forgot to do so on Earth, and instead prefer to get surrounded? They also could have used that dust to shoot the tanks, after all, it was quite hard to miss them with so many.

And how neither the tanks nor the Engines do have any kind of non-optical sensor. Heck, they probably rely on the spectrum of visible light alone. How about putting sensor for ultraviolett and infrared on there, aswell as heat, accoustic and radar?

I'm not entirely sure that Teppei had a mom considering he was created as a clone. However his "father" will surely be appearing before the end of the series. I honestly expected him to be back by now. But he will show up.

The little girl is the big question. Although based off of the first opening, and what Puck said about the Livlasters being extra dimensional beings who take on the form of a gun, she's probably Daichi's livlaster. So that will probably come into play pretty soon as well.

This episode had a lot of flags that something big is going to happen. I'm not entirely sure that Teppei will survive the show.

I think the moment between Hana and Akari's mom was quite sweet. Probably the highlight of the episode.

Also, Daichi's final attack was pretty awesome, not going to lie.

This show is fun to watch and ends way too quickly. Sure, its not the best BONES work, but it is an enjoyable one!

For starters, the shots hit the very joint of the legs and that's obviously a more vulnerable area, a well placed shot can destroy it, nothing wrong with that there.

Secondly the Ordinary machines, have NEVER really been able to fly. I mean they have always been launched via Railgun-esque cannon and then use their thrusters for some aerial maneurability, and if you notice what Daichi did, he mostly went upwards, but that does not mean he can fly properly and freely.

Well they simply did not have it. Not that all machines have that equipment. It is not that easy to get if im not mistaken.

The horny computer is hilarious.

18 Episodes in, and Daichi is still the naive guy he was from the first episode. No, you do not get to save the entire world. There will be casualties on both sides. If you don't play your cards right, you WILL lose the things important to you.

That last move though, was all Heero.

Heero did it in the air or in space, I'm pretty sure of it too.

Hana, is gonna be captured next episode if Daichi doesn't shape up, but then again that might actually be welcome considering how much Daichi's mental mindset needs to be adjusted before he becomes an actual "Hero".

Oh well, 7 more episodes to go. Lets soldier through this, shall we?

Teppei getting popular with the girls. Daichi seems jealous, but hey, he has the princess for himself.

SaltyDog sure wants to get rid of them, and capture Hana. I agree that they could've just jump on the edge and run away. Even though couldn't fly, their mobile enough to evade their attacks and destroy them. Dunno why, but they probably forgot they're mechs can jump.

It was naive of Daichi to not leave him behind as Teppei said, and possibility lose someone important later, but hey, he doesn't want his friend get left behind to die.

Except some small point not really to my taste during the fight, the narrative seemed scroll smooth as glass and without inconsistencies.
Plot that gets more interesting episode after episode, but the thing that does not seem to work is the cast.
Drawings and animations excellent as usual, used colors and beautiful scenery made meticulously, are satisfied.
