Notice the similarities between Akame from Akame Ga Kill rand the black haired girl here?

This was based off of a vn in 2009, and later released an anime in April 2010.

Akame Ga Kill began serialization in April 2010 of Square Enix's Gangan Joker in 2010.

Conclusion? It's not a coincidence.

I mean, ties on their uniform? Both wield a katana? Totally not a coincidence.

If you have been watching anime for years already, you know, that many of our favorite characters are just copies of other previous anime characters.

It's already rare to see ORIGINAL characters, much other recycled, copied or adapted by artists.

Coincidence? Maybe
Intentional? Probably
Original? Most likely not.

Try to watch Hentai. A lot them are based/copies of decent anime characters.

It'snot something new to be curious about.

To be fair, it's true of many mediums. Anyone in the realm of entertainment can tell you GOT and Berserk took lines from more Nihilistic works, or that every Dating sim is quite similar in both plot structure and characterization.

But this is admittingly my first time where I saw not only physical resemblance but uniform resemblance. And same weapons too. I mean, you have to watch the hentai to understand.
