| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- That was a pretty good episode. However, if we go with the game mechanics, Ash's Numeil should not have been able to evolve into Goodra since it used Rain Dance, it has to be natural rain. Well regardless, it was a great evolution, the dragon thing appearing when it evolved made me remember of Goku's Dragon Fist move. Goodra took that Shadow Ball/Psybeam like a boss, high special defenses, OP. That Dragon Pulse looks sick, having it have a dragon head at the tip really made it look more powerful. Tierno has a pretty good team, using Raichu was a good choice. I don't know about you guys, but it seems like any Raichu that Pikachu faces, it ends up giving Pikachu a hard time. The last time I saw Pikachu face a Raichu, it almost got killed from Raichu's Hyper Beam. Numeil's flashback before it evolved really made Numeil look like it is no longer weak. In that flashabck a Seviper using a fire move, hmm. Can Seviper use a fire move? I was surprised Tierno didn't bother to send out his WATER pokemon to put out the fire. He has a Ludicolo, Politoad, Wartortle, they could have easily put out the fire. Anyway, I'm anxious for the gym battle now. Preview for the Hoopa movie at the end. Ho-OH better make an appearance. |

| This episode was pretty intense. From the fire to the battle. The battle. Breaking their rhythm was perfect. XD Sliggoo's evolution was amazing. That dragon in the sky. But I feel like Goodra's going to want to go back to it's habitat. Probably, so it can protect other Pokemon, now that he's gotten tougher and doesn't have to be in fear. |

| I really don't want to see Ash release Goodra (like what happened to his Pidgeot). It is such a powerhouse already... and also his first full fledged evolved Dragon type (and also his first pokemon in Kalos to fully evolve as well). Can't believe we are moving faster, took ages to get to the 3rd gym leader, but now that he finished the 4th, we are moving on the 5th already. >_< |

| the dragon animation during the evolution was really cool. good double battle. goodra was able to use bide, and in part to pickachu blocking wartortle's attack. liked how the battle didn't end there and how ash threw the other pokemon out of rhythm. |

| Cool Sliggoo evolved!! Goodra is a great Pokémon. I trained one in Y and it's super handy to have. Because of Hydration all status conditions are healed in the rain, so I always started the battle off with Rain Dance just in case, gave it a Damp Rock to extend the duration of Rain Dance to eight moves instead of five, so I could use Goodra against all kinds of status-problem-happy Pokémon (Ex. Poison or Grass types with Poison Powder/Stun Spore/Sleep Powder/etc) and it worked out great. Not to mention it was super powerful. Tierno's Raichu is so cute. It's English voice sounded adorable. Pikachu had no problem taking out Tierno's Raichu, but back when he was battling Lt. Surge's Raichu he had such a hard time that he briefly considered evolving Pikachu. That was a tense episode for me back then. xD If Wartortle evolves into Blastoise, I wonder if it'll still be able to dance...Blastoise is so bulky...So is Ludicolo I suppose, but dancing is Ludicolo's thing. Just ask Miror B...Ugh every time I see a Ludicolo, Miror B is all I think about. Soooo Tierno had Wartortle, Politoed, and Ludicolo and Ash had Frogadier, but no one thought to use them to put out the fire? But still, that evolution was great. I wonder which Pokémon Clemont will use against Ash. I bet he'll use Bunnelby and Luxray, but I hope he also uses Heliolisk. I wanna see him use it since he never gets to see it. |
| I can't believe Sliggoo already evolved in to Goodra, is this some kind of speed record for getting a Pokemon to evolve? Poor thing is traumatised still from what happened before. I haven't seen Raichu in a long time it was very cute. I thought also that Wartortle would put the fire out, I forgot about Frogadier since he wasn't out lol. Team Rocket were funny, I liked their invention and with the holograms of them while they were relaxing in a hammock lol. |

| Hell yeah! Sligoo finally evolve into a Goodra.. but i guess it's pretty soon to evolve since this episode actually the first episode that it made a brief appearance aside from the one when Ash's Goomy evolved into a Sligoo.. What make me afraid is the chance that it would get release in the future.. since usually a powerhouse pokemon who will stick with ash only evolve in near the end of the journey.. hope i was wrong.. Anyway.. the sligoo evolving method in this episode is actually illegal in the games since they have to evolve when it's rain naturally.. wished they can made that happen since it's not that hard to achieve.. and after finish dealing with team rocket, ash had a short double battle against Tierno and expected, ash win since his newly evolve Goodra is strong.. Overall a great episode.. I think it would be beast if we get Goodra battle against Luxray in the gym battle.. looking forward to see the next ones.. 5/5 |

| Satoshi and Tierno were suppose to be having a training battle, but Tierno brought out Raichu. At that moment, the training battle became a fight to the death. WTF! Did Numera seriously have the easiest evolution ever? It didn't do shit for it to be evolving so quickly. lol |

| Thought this episode was going to be boring, but it turned out fun with a lot going on. Satoshi's weakest dragon type is now fully evolved! I was excited for Pikachu Vs. Raichu again, I love that match up for some reason, but then here comes Team Rocket's APC, lol. Did they really not have some kind of function so the captured pokemon couldn't attack them? Well, it worked pretty well besides that. They had a lot of fun with Jessie's hair in this episode. Next time, a gym battle, maybe! |
