 It was revealed on the official site that Hibike! Euphonium (Sound! Euphonium) will be receiving a special episode. The episode, titled "Kakedasu Monaka" (Running Monaka), will be bundled with the seventh Blu-ray and DVD volume on December 16, 2015.Hibike! Euphonium is an adaptation of the novel series written by Ayano Takeda. Kyoto Animation produced the 13-episode television series, which aired in Spring 2015. AFAIK, KyoAni have only ever once done the beach/ pool/ onsen OVA cliché, and that was for Hyouka. Not counting Free of course because, well, duh. |

Yeah, it's just when I first skimmed the title my heart leapt for a second thinking it was an announcement for season 2, and then it wasn't :'( I do hope you're right about KyoAni's numeous projects, though, and I hope one of them is a second season for this. |

| In this anime, I was shipping Hazuki x Suuichi.... but then he rejected her when she confessed to him, and then I didnt enjoy the rest of the anime. By looking at the preview of this special episode, it looks like the two of them will have some scenes together, so thats good and because of that, Ill watch it.... I just hope that its not Hazuki playing cupid for Suiichi and the female MC because I hate it when animes do that. |
