| Seth Former now she had the lead in th Race as she entered the hallways first. There werent many students, so there was no risk of her crashing into someone. However, she never let out of her mind that Levy might be on he Tail... When she reached the end of the hallway where it went in 2 different directions she planted her foot on the ground and pivoted on it quickly to change direction and head left, the direction of the school yard |

| Levy Two figures flashed across the hallway in mere seconds, leaving any students that were there bewildered and confused. Seth was still in the lead, but Levy wasn't losing any distance. He followed her actions exactly, as there wasn't any place to try anything to overtake as of yet. He'd wait for later to try and do that. |
| Seth As she was running in th lead she took a moment to look over her shoulder, seeing Levy closer than she expected. She did Well to not underestimate he oponent... However, the hallway was too narrows to overtake safely, so this leg of the race is hers. Soon enough in front of her appeared the exit to the school yard, smirking in her mind. Basically she flew through the exit as she ran outside, continuing to the next step |

| Levy She's good! Cmon, cmon, cmon! Levy repeated to himself time and time again, waiting for the right place to go at complete full speed. If he did it too early, he'd get exhausted and definitely lose... Too late, and someone as good as Seth would undoubtedly punish his mistake. It needed to be the perfect time - but Levy was patient. There were a couple steps down to the school yard, he followed Seth by leaping over these steps, but not losing any speed as his feet crashed back to the ground. |
| Ren Kurosaki Ren arrived and looked around then he let out a sigh "Oi you still there if so I'm switching out" he said as he sighed "Finally" the normal Ren said as he walked around and he looked around "This is a great school" he said to himself |
| Ashera Ashe dutifully walked the hallway, relived to see that there was no trouble abound. She kept her weapon, her florete, stealthily sheathed within her garb trying no to draw attention, but if someone were to notice her she wouldn't be displeased. Her attention was mostly focused on Ren, the student just down the hallway, who seemed to be talking to no one, though she sensed no malice either. Ashe walked closer amplifying her footsteps in hopes of catching his eye, or his ear, |
| Ren Kurosaki Ren heard her and he quickly looked around before his eyes landed on her then he looked away and began walking not knowing that she was trying to get his attention and he took out a small sketch pad and began drawing his surroundings 'Oi why did you ignore the girl she was trying to get your attention' a voice in his head said "No she wasn't" Ren said with a sigh as he drew then his other personality took control again "You really shouldn't ignore what I tell you" he said then sighed and looked at the girl "were you trying to get our attention?" He asked the girl as he put away the sketch pad and took out a pack of cigarettes then looked at her again then he decided against lighting one and put the cigarettes away now he just waited for her response (From here on I'll use colors to determine which one is out blue being for the normal Ren and red for the Ren I'm playing now) |
| Ashera Ashe waited for Ren to stop interrupting himself before she replied. "You are doing a lovely job of bringing attention to yourself." She wondered for a moment whether or not she should play along. "er...yourselves." Ashe cleared her throat to get rid of her hesitation. "Yes. I meant to be obvious about it too, to avoid an awkward situation such as this, but that's out of the way now." She spoke bluntly but paused after every sentence as if she was regretting every word. "I'm just looking to get to know people around here. I'm Ashe." She reached her hand out for a customary shake. |
| Ren Kurosaki Ren laughed a little when he heard the yourselves "I'm Ren and before you ask about any of that this body carries two personalities" he said shaking her hand "that's a cute name" he said with a slight grin 'Hey don't say that!!' The voice in his head said before quickly switching Ren Kurosaki "I'm so sorry for his use of words " he said with a quick bow his eyes were blue now "Y'see me and him are complete opposites he doesn't care what he does or say. I do so please forgive me" he said still in his bow but he looked up at her before slowly going out of his bow |
| Ashera "As you wish Ren. You're forgiven." complied Ashe. "You really don't need to be so formal. I grew up on a farm, not in a palace. If anything it just makes me uncomfortable." A body with two personalities was strange, but Ashe expected nothing less at a school like this. She tried not to let it faze her. "Oh your eyes!" she exclaimed as he looked up. "They're very pretty. Are they always like that? Changing?." |
| Ren smiled at her then heard her comment about treating her formally "Sorry sorry the school I used to go to had all kinds of students coming from rich families so I kind of just got used to it" he said with a smile then heard her comment about his eyes and blushed a bit "they change whenever we switch Red for the Ren you saw earlier and blue for the Ren you see now" he said with a slight smile |
| Ashera "Well they say the eyes are the window to the soul, so it makes sense for you to have two pairs." She stared intently at him. "You seem sincere enough Ren. May I join you for a spell? It's awfully boring being alone in this vacant facility." Not that Ren would know of course. It's difficult to be alone when you're two people, Ashe reasoned. |
| Ren smiled at the girl and nodded "I wouldn't mind it at all that way I don't have to listen to him all day" he said 'OI!!' a voice in his head said causing him to laugh a little bit "But what do you mean by joining me for a spell?" He asked her with a look that made it obvious he was confused and he really was as he's never heard the term before |
| Ashera "What? Aren't you going off to practice advanced wizardry?" She giggled at her joke. "Don't dwell on that. You've already agreed, so what difference will it make?" The question was rhetorical. "Now what were you up to Ren? I I thought I saw something in your hand." |
| Ren looked at her confused but then quickly took out two things a pack of cigarettes and a sketch pad "Which one?" He asked her "and before you ask about the cigarettes they keep the other side of me relaxed " he quickly explained "this side of me doesn't actually smoke" he said with a smile as he put the cigarettes away assuming she ignored them when she first saw them |
| Ashera Ashe eyes the cigarettes cautiously. "Only one of you smokes? Is there a point to that? I mean, the damage is already done. Abstaining doesn't really do much for you. Oh, but don't mind that. I'm more curious about that book." Ashe had only smoked a few times, she thought it complimented her name in a sense. Not to mention she never had a chance to indulge during her first life, all the more reason to pull no punches now that she was on life number two. |
| Ren laughed a little and smiled and handed her the sketch pad if she looked through she would see a ton of drawings a few from his life before this school and he responded to her comment about cigarettes "My body also changes true my body is still damaged from the cigarettes but my body can't breathe in the smoke but his body can I hate how it works but I'm used to it" he said with a smile |
| Ashera She flipped through the pages, not particularly captivated by the art, but still curious. "Ah, like having a twin who never leaves you alone... Sounds pleasant." Ashe was speaking absently, so it was hard to tell whether or not she was being sarcastic. She glanced over the last few pages and handed it back without a word of her opinion. |
| Ren smiled at her and her comment "Well he leaves me alone when asleep" he said taking his sketch pad |
| Ashera "Did you plan on wandering this place aimlessly? Or maybe you spotted something lovely to sketch." She gestured towards the large glass windows displaying the campus and batted her eyes. "I'm just tagging along after all." Ashe was truly enjoying herself. This boy wasn't the typical boring kind that she often encountered outside the school. |
| Ren Kurosaki Ren smiled at her "I sketch what I like but a lot of times it is involving nature" he said with a smile and he began drawing tiny little practice drawings that would eventually cover up the whole paper "Although sometimes it's hard finding something you haven't drawn before" he said with a smile |
| Ashera "Ain't that the truth." Ashe peeked over his shoulder and watched him draw. He wasn't all that much taller than her. "Do you mind if I try? I'm used to handling pointy tools with grace. Here, trust me." Ashe made grasping motions with her hands. It had been a long time since she tried her hand at art, but she was always open to new experiences. |
| Ren smiled and took out a pencil and the sketch pad and gave it to her "I don't mind at all" he said with a smile curious to see how good she was at drawing |
| Ashera She happily took the notepad and drew a circle on the blank canvas. "Let's see..." she drew a crude mouth onto the circle, probably meant to be a face, but then erased it. Instead Ashe opted to draw hair. Long wavy hair that would have went far past the shoulders if Ashe were to draw those in. She then drew two ovals for eyes, but erased those too. Ashe put more detail into the hair, drawing darker lines here and there to define it. Afterwards she drew two more eyes, but quickly erased them. Ashe hesitated for a moment, then handed the notepad back without adding any features to the face. "I'm not one for details, I guess." |
| Ren smiled a bit at her then closed the sketch pad"its perfectly fine I'm not good at drawing faces either although I'm good at drawing people if they're some sort of distance away from me" he explained then smiled as he looked out the window and opened his sketch pad and began drawing |
| Ashera She nodded quietly in agreement, and only some again after a long pause. "What kind of hobbies does the other...you have. Do they draw too?" Ashe sat down against the wall resting her weary legs. Aside from the two of them, the hallway was eerily silent, an aspect of the building Ashe wasn't especially fond of. She rarely found silence to be pleasant, and so she figured it was her burden to banish it. |
| Ren looked at her and smiled "drinking flirting with girls smoking fighting all sorts of things that I oppose " he said with a sigh "oh well eventually in this school I'll be able to shut him out of my life" he said with a smile then he continued drawing |
| Ashera Ashe felt an instinctual desire to defend the other Ren, it was her nature after all, but she din't want to make a fuss of any sort. "You've come to this school to practice your control then? Would that be self-improvement or self-defense?" Either way, she didn't spend much time thinking about it. "I can't say he sounds like a pleasant companion. Sorry." Ashe immediately wan't to take back her words; it was obvious in the regretful expression she wore. Her opinion was entirely pointless. She was just embarrassing herself. "Sorry." |
| Ren laughed at her and looked at her with a smile "Don't be sorry it's your opinion not mine I couldn't care less if you like him or not but I'm glad to hear your opinion" he said then looked down at his sketch pad and decided to put it away as he was done drawing 'Mind if I switch out?' "Not now" Ren replied but it looked as if he was speaking to no one |
| Ashera Even with Ren's assurance, Ashe was still a bit regretful and thus kept herself reserved. "Why do you lock him out like that?" She assumed Ren was talking to his other himself, though if he were simply a madman she would be none the wiser. "Huma- we should all be free to speak our minds. You might share a body, but that's no excuse." Ashe's tone wasn't aggressive by any means, in fact she sounded more concerned. |
| Ren looked at her a slightly annoyed look on his face but it quickly vanished "I want to shut him out because he's ruined half my life" he said looking forward "and if you really want me to let him take control you'll have to deal with him smoking" he said looking at her with a slight smile |
| Ashera She ignored his leer. "I'm sure he'd say you ruined half HIS life. And in all fairness, sharing a body would make it difficult to not interfere with each other. If he wants to talk, I'll hear it." Ashe, who already had her life ruined, could easily relate to, well, both of them. |
| Ren sighed and looked around "He didn't show up until my father threw me into an art school" he said looking at her and he sighed as he switched out with his other personality in which he took out a cigarette and lit one and began smoking |
| Ashera The change was rather apparent, even though there were no significant physical difference between the two. Ashe didn't know if she should introduce herself, or just carry on as if nothing changed. The confusion was thrilling. "Can I have one..." She still lacked confidence in her voice, but that's just was way she was. |
| Ren looked at her then grinned a bit "Catch" he said tossing her the pack along with the lighter "Looks like he got annoyed" he said looking up |
| Ashera How odd. She was prepared for anger, hostility, rudeness and the lot. It was a pleasant change of expectation. Ashe caught the pack, removed a cigarette and lobbed it back. " 'Preciate it." She mumbled fumbling but ultimately finding success with the lighter. After lighting it, she returned the lighter as well. |
| Ren looked at her "Thats the only one your getting this is my only pack" he said taking a drag of his cigarette then he looked at her "Ashe was it?" He asked her looking back at her before laughing a little unsure what to say |
| Ashera The smoke was soothing in a way. It reminded her of home, but without the horrible memories attached. "Understood." Ashe complied. Strange, his chuckle made it seem like he was the nervous one. "I think I had a different name for a time, but for now I'm Ashe. Kind of like stiff fire reduces wood to, but more elegant." She made a laugh to match his. |
| Ren looked at her his facial expression being a bit cold "So what the hell did you two discuss" he asked leaning against the glass window while smoking |
| Ashera Interesting. They don't share memories. "We exchanged cordial introductions, basic migling and the works." Ren was even avoidig eye contact. He truly seemed timid. "He never said so, but I thought you wanted to talk to me." Could she have been mistaken? Shoot! Too late to take it back now. |
| Ren let out a sigh and looked at her "I don't know" he said "don't know what to talk about don't know what to do don't know how boring this damned school is" he said with a slight yawn the last thing he said was a bit irrelevant |
| Ashera "You're just a bit shy, that's all." Ashe didn't know how else to call him out without angering him. "At least that's how you act." That second line was just to cover her back. She could easily relate to this Ren. He essentially vocaloized a few of the thoughts she had since entering school. It really was boring at times. |
| Ren sighed and looked at her with narrowed eyes "Just because I'm acting this way right now doesn't mean shit" he said coldly "I'm surprised that bastard even talked to you that much" he said taking a drag of his cigarette |
| Ashera That was about the reaction she was expecting, based on how the other Ren described him. She tried not to let it faze her. "Maybe you don't know him as well as you think you do." She inhaled deeply. "Besides, there's not much else to do in this school is there?" |
| Ren sighed looking at her "He should be figuring out where the dorms are " he said with a long sigh then looked out the window as he threw down his finished cigarette and stomped it out |
| Exiting the infirmary, Lei caught a strong potency he knew too familiar. Smoke. Was there a fire somewhere? The trail of thought was quickly quelled upon simple observation of his posterior surroundings; a student was smoking. While he found no problem with him smoking in itself, doing so inside and in a school of all places didn't sit right with Lei. Throwing the cigarette on the ground on the other hand, now that was just impolite. Slowly approaching the student, and the girl he was conversing with, the soft tapping of his walking stick against the floor only emphasising the effort it took him to make his destination. "Excuse me," he muttered once he had closed in. Crouching down with great effort, Lei removed a tissue from his side pocket and pinched the cigarette butt, and the surrounding ash, in it. Scanning around for a bin, he said nothing more to the boy as he proceeded to dispose of it. |
| Ashera "How sweet of you to care for him like that. You're like a big brother, making sure he's set for school." Ashe waved her hand whimsically drawing transient lines with the smoking cigarette that was reduced to a butt. It was then she took notice of a nosy boy about her age, if not younger. He didn't look partially happy about her and Ren's behavior, but he didn't openly object either so she didn't give him much thought. "Dorms are a stone's throw from here. I'm sure you can ask anyone for directions if you get lost." She stood up and disposed of her cigarette in the same rubbish bin, not that she was following Lei's lead. It was simply the most reasonable course of action. |
| Ren sighed at the guy "You know I was planning at throwing that away but I'd rather not start a fire as much as I want to so I stomped it out first" he said with a sigh then he lit another cigarette and continued smoking |
| "Maybe you were, maybe you weren't; expecting others to do the right thing is the first step in ensuring that no one does. Sorry to butt in like that, but in all due fairness, 'can hardly expect the guy, whom I only know has a complete lack of consideration for the students around here, second hand smoke and all, to suddenly decide to take their interests to heart," he said with a shrug, twitching from pain upon moving his arms. This was, clearly made evident by his pensive gaze and faint wry smile, not about smoking. He was still in the process of ascertaining a suitable mean of who the 'mirai student' was, an analysis that would likely take him the day. Besides, he was in the presence of an oddity, he noted, catching a glance at the girl's face as she disposed of her butt in the bin. The other kid was an anomaly to him, holding no resemblance, at least any identifiable, to anyone he heard about. Back when he was an assassin he recalled there being a longstanding contract out to eliminate a girl with a pink rose amidst a purple eye. See, people didn't much fancy the idea of a highschooler running around from job to job with insane power behind her step. He didn't know if the jobs themselves caused her to use her power, or if she let slip her power in front of the wrong people while doing these jobs, though one thing was for sure she stepped on someone's feet. But what was her name... Sensing he may have been staring at her eye a little too much in passing, he drew away, only to notice the boy had lit up another cigarette. "You know, it'd be pretty good practice to do that outside. You know, where your actions will only affect yourself. For all we know there might be a kid or two here that could have a kryptonite like thing going on with smoke." |
