I'm really enjoying it so far. I really like Takao Shigeru, and I love her historical manga the best. She does so much research, a lot more than many mangaka.

Golden Days is also set in the 1920s, but it's set in Japan. It's really interesting to see her draw Europe in this time period. Her backgrounds are so detailed (and I've always loved her characters' subtle expressions).

Niram has such an interesting backstory. He and Mariko are really helping each other out (at the point I've read), but I'm not sure if their relationship can last without them growing together as a couple.
