Anime Adaptations Outside of Manga?

What TV show, game, book, or movie would you like to see an anime adaptation of?

I think the Shannara series or The Wheel or Time series would be good source material for a fantasy adaptation. I'm talking about the books mind you.

I would love to see an Anime Adaptation of HARRY POTTTER!!!! :D That would be super duper Fantastic!! :D ^-^ Hehehehehehe!! Imagine Hogwarts....WOAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D This needs to happen ASAP!!!! XD I'm getting wayyyy to excited just thinking about it!! XD Hehehehehe!!!

I could see that happening. It'd probably be tweaked a bit in order to fit the style, but I think it would work.

If it did happen, they could really bring out the wizard duels and expand upon the Ministry of Magic. I also think a spin-off series focused on Fred and George's Trick Shop would be nice. Or maybe a whole series dedicated to the Weasley family.

I would LOVE an Okami adaptation. Though it's already heavily based around Japanese culture so maybe that's cheating.

Game of thrones could make a wonderful anime, its flawless as a TV show and i think it could be just as good as an anime, maybe expand on some of its lore as a spin off like Roberts Rebellion.

Actually, I'd love to see that too. It would be great to recapture the art-style, characters, and story by adapting into an anime. It might also bring in some new folks to check out the games too.

I could definitely see this taking off as one of the best adaptations if they really dug into the lore. There is plenty of source material to work with, and could easily work in character arcs that were omitted from the TV series. Man, just thinking of the possibilities makes me want fund this project.

Surprsingly enough I would want some of the Halo games books that add to lore like the forerunner saga adapted.
