DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- Solid chapter for Mitsuki's character, good mama Orochimaru loves his test tube baby, how sweet :'( Mitsuki makes the independent choice in the elaborate act and goes sage mode. He's now the moon to Boruto's sun. Thought Tearing Jutsu was a fake here, but maybe it'll come back for real in the boruto series. |

| Man did I miss Naruto. This was a solid chapter. Now we have introductions to all three members of the new Team 7. I like how Kishi gave them their respective time to shine in three different ways. Sarada in Gaiden. Boruto in the film and Mitsuki in this one-shot. |
| that one shot was fucked up in so many levels orochimaru give me the creeps i feel like kishimoto tried to send some philosophical deep idea in this chapter i just don't care overall 3/5 i'm just glad to see more naruto manga content i was starting to miss that piece of shit |

| That was very nice and I'm surprised to see this character development in Orochimaru I was hoping that Mitsuki wasn't a test tube baby but oh well....I wonder who's embryo he came from or was it implied that it was Oro's Also with this, the OP trio is complete....Dat Sage Mode was too much xD |

| Felt a tad awkward given that Orochimaru, the man who killed over 50 newborns, is a loving parent now. At least he still maintains his character traits (teaches kid lesson by wiping memory clean 6 times and setting up a test instead of just telling them, haha)- that manipulative and weird snake. But, nonetheless the character development for him was done well along with his son. And, I can tell that Kishimoto put a good deal of effort into this- much better than Gaiden. A 45 page chapter was better than 10 chapters (a manga volume) and had more plot progression. Shows what a mangaka can do when he's given more time to plan things out. The idea of choosing one's own path is nothing new to this series, but this was a nice new take to it. The art was also very good and the last panel of Mitsuki standing below the moon after finding a hope for the future was beautiful as well. 8/10, objectively speaking. 10/10 w/ bias since I've always had a soft spot for Orochimaru's character and now his son, Mitsuki. |

| Meh, nothing special really. Felt more like a 'filler' chapter, since I don't really care for Mitsuki. I'd prefer Kishimoto to write another chapter focused on Naruto or Boruto :| 6/10 |

| So being a huge Orochimaru fan I finally read this and oh, such strange feelings. Yeah, he's still terrifying, but it is weirdly nice seeing him being not a totally crappy parent in his own screwy way. I'm just surprised Mitsuki was totally ok with this, smiling at Boruto's picture and all. |

| Man, I was hoping for him to be born in the sense of normal human being not born as in a lab... Glad he chose to follow his own path... Boruto, Sarada & Mitsuki choosing a different route as their fathers is a great way of setting up this new generation. The only question is off what consist Mitsuki genetic code DNA (Imagine if is a combination of Orochimaru & Jiraiya DNA) (°~°) as weird this might sound, they were really good friends despite the fact that they were also enemies at some point in time... in this way he would pay homage to his best friend even if this sound a little bit disturbing… one things is for sure this kid would be powerful as f*ck. |

Another Mitsuki. Orochimaru just identified himself as "his". Dat transformation. So it was all according to Orochimaru's keikaku. His true name is...Mitsuki. Dat Tsuki no Ookisa (Size of the moon). |

| can't remember if I already read this ages ago, or if I'm just remembering this from the anime (I think it was adapted somewhere? probably in Boruto) but either way it somehow escaped being on my list until now. it's a great oneshot and Naruto story, one of the more interesting plot lines from the Boruto era, at least from where I've seen/read up to. |
