The match is still rough but I did like the moments when Kanagawa school managed turn the match around against some of Sagami School's players. Guess size really does matter. I still really dislike Sagami School for their intimidating play style. However, it looks like they are struggling as well.

Also seems like Kanagawa's coach is having more confidence in his team.

Tense match but I found this one pretty fun to watch with a lot of action. And even blood!

That was by far the best episode, holy shit.

The intensity was off the charts!

Really simple, but effective backstory with the adviser.

Goddamn, This episode was so awesome. :D
The second half especially was so zealous and intense, Almost at Haikyuu/Ippo levels. Well done MadHouse, Excellent game presentation. :D

Ebumi was so badass, I love how he scared that Hanna guy out of his wits. xD
Iwashimizu poses were hilarious. XD

Those tackles were epic man, I would not want to be hit by one of those, espeically those Sekizan tackles. I can feel the intensity through my screen.
That Sekizan face and smile in the blood, Epic as hell.

Feel a little bad for the adviser now, Simple backstory but it works. The guy tried his hardest but was just ignored by the previous Ginko. True, he shouldn't have extended his behavior towards the current team but I'm glad he was finally able to support the current team. :D

GGWP Ginko, Even though they lost, They played really well and displayed outstanding determination and willpower.
I really wish they had got at least one final point in that last play. Damn, refree didn't see the knock on. XD
Can't wait to see these guys improve.

This was a very good episode and the match was intense from start to finish. I also liked the adviser's backstory, now I don't think he's THAT much of a scumbag for how uncaring he was toward the rugby team. If they don't care about you, why should you care about them? I'm sure he'll have a change of heart now.

I could not agree more. This episode alone gave me DnA and Haikyuu vibes the entire time. Why couldn't Days be like this? This show delivers character and action.

Damn, this episode was so good. Loved how Sekizan said he would be right back after getting kicked in the face. Also loved the small backstory of the sensei. All Out has the potential to be my all time favourite sport anime

That first year from Sagami lost his confidence pretty quickly. He was all talk, haha. Serves him right.

Gion gave some nice advice to Iwashimizu, now he just needs to do that pose more naturally xD

So the teacher stopped caring about the new members just because he had some unenthusiastic students at first? What kind of reasoning is that?

I almost forgot Sekizan was here. Glad he got some badass moments, but I wish we had seen more of him.

Now it's time to focus on Gion's training!

What a great episode after last week's which I didn't really enjoy. Glad to see them come back from mental torture so quickly.

Loved the part where Gion told Iwashimizu to stand up straight.

Actually kind of liked the manager's little backstory too, those club members were jerks

I don't think it's that unreasonable. He tried for more than one year. New members weren't that much into it either apart from 1-2 exceptions who were over shadowed by far bigger numbers.

When you try over and over and no one gives a fuck, eventually you'll stop giving one too.

There's only one thing to say about this episode: Sekizan has one hell of a resolve! No wonder the first team they played against is fascinated by him.

As a side note, it's nice to see that the team adviser is not a prick after all.

And now, on to THIRD HALF! Oh yes!!!

EDIT: Ebumi sure is fast lol

Epic episode. My favourite so far. Just awesome.

After last week I was really looking forward to this week's episode. I was especially disappointed with Sekizan's absence since I thought that he, at least, would make his presence felt. Then, this week, every time you see him it's like a scene in a war movie: Just BLAM and some guy is lying on the ground wondering if he just got hit by a car.

I've been a Sekizan fan since the beginning but daaaaamn, now he is quickly moving up my list of badass characters. And I love this screenshot of him.

As for Ebumi - what an entrance. I knew he was going to have an impact and that he was a formidable player but I didn't expect him to be so explosive. I actually felt a bit sorry for poor Hana after that first clash.

Now I'm getting excited. If they keep up the training and bring Gion in to help with defense they are going to become a team strong enough to make watching their matches a pleasure.

Couple of great scenes but I think this was my favourite scene of the episode:

starting this episode i was like, if things don't turn around im gonna quit!! but no i would never, i like these characters too much. this was a great match.

it was about time they put in ebumi!! so glad he kicked hana in the face. well deserved.

why did it take forever to bring in captain though, i was wondering what happened to him. when his face started bleeding though and he went back in to play, respect.

when coach asked the advisor "did something happen in your past" i was like are you really trying to say "what is your damage and why are you so fucked up" lol it was funny but i'm glad to see his reasoning for the neglect. still messed up though.

Now you can feel in the narrative that desire to "do" and thankfully, comic moments can also be natural during the various situations faced. That air of laxity and indifference, is blown away from the foundation, the proof is in the plot that does not point in describing the game, but in analyzing the contact person of the team. The script has a little theatrical, but it has a major shortcoming is that it lacks continuity in the actions during the meeting of Rugby, unfortunately we have to make do with occasional statements from side to side, which nevertheless are not bad. Directed finally emphasizes the character of Sekizan and does not dwell only on Gion and Iwashimizu, I like that, because I love the stories in which all are protagonists; at least the plot it benefits in terms of entertainment.

I was a bit surprised at the fact that neither Hana nor Sekizan were concussed . Usually, a hit to the jaw results in violent shaking that will result in a concussion (hence mouth guards are mandatory for rugby to reduce this, at least wherever I've played). Thought Hana was going to get knocked out by Ebumi, that badass. I assume that the kick grazed Sekizan's head, and only the studs on the cleat cut his forehead and allowed him to avoid a concussion. The tackles were on point. I felt the first one, when the coach yelled to lower his body.

Loved this episode, felt as though it was the only one with a solid amount of action (though the previous episodes were needed to make this one as good as it was). Hope this is how the rest of the anime will be.

Ebumi is strong and capable and a bit OP!
Team Sagami is still strong but Team Jinko is learning and as per coach steal techniques that Sagami is showing-off to them! good tactic!
Sekizan is having too much fun!
Looks like the Advisor is also getting hooked with the game because usually he doesn't care at all about Team Jinko.
5/5.

Okay, I feel a bit better for the adviser now after knowing what happened to him back then. lol Also can't help but think Hana deserves what he got after talking all high and mighty against Iwashimizu.. now he's all scared and useless against Ebumi which is so amusing to watch. xD

Anyway, all the tackling and whatever you wanna call it in rugby is so damn intense... I can't help but cringe a little just watching all these boy crashing into one another. I'm surprised there aren't as many injuries being shown besides the "minor" bleeding what with all the collisions going on here and there. Though I also do find it kinda funny whenever someone does tackle someone else. Watching a player disappear mid-run all of a sudden because of an incoming opponent always cracks me up for some reason. lolol

Kinda surprised about not much Sekizan in the previous episode, I would have thought he'd have a few words about his team being provoked by the other team, but I guess they wanted to focus on the team members dealing with it themselves. He was great this episode though♥

Ebumi kicked ass as soon as he got on the field!!

The advisor has been redeemed somewhat with his backstory. That sad music during the flashbacks tho
