| Predictable but it was a great battle. Not to mention the superb animation! |
| So Ash swept Hala.And here I thought he would lose.Really liked for Rowlet beating Crabrawler but it took a nap while it was flying lmao.Pikachu though came out straight from Kalos League and beat Hariyama despite it took a knock off,arm thrust and All-Out Pummeling after Belly Drum.Breakneck Blitz looked awesome as well.Nice episode and next week a Kiawe focused episode. |

Exactly, that complaint has been expressed on a few boards already but it's exactly what you said. 2 palm strikes hit instead of the 15+ hits of the combo. Anyway, Mukuroh was great again, actually being awake at the start of the match and then sleeping... whilst flapping XD Briliant. Animation looked solid too or at least fluid, wonder how they will progress from here. |

| I was wondering in the previous episode if Ash would use all Z-Crystals at least once and I think he will use the majority from what I see :P GangsterCat said: yo dawg, im pretty sure that pikachu is at least level 861 already That's exactly why Pikachu destroyed Hariyama even if the latter used Belly Drum lol Pikachu's agility is still intact from Kalos League and not downgraded like it happens in every region's start (the only exception being XY surely) |

Still though it managed to get out unscathed despite it had received damage already and after Hariyama used Belly Drum as well. |

| finally a legit trainer battle happened in this series but it was one of the most boring pokemon battles I have ever seen in Pokemon. I'm just hugely disappointed by this slice of life pokemon series compared to XYZ i guess. |

| I wish he spent more time on Melemele but it seems like next episode he's moving on to Akala island. I hope Lana, Kiawe, and Mallow judge their trials and I want Ilima to show up at some point! Also Ash needs to catch a new Pokemon. |

In the games, you win z-crystals from completing trials and beating the kahunas. You can also find a few in the overworld. Each z-crystal corresponds to a type. They are named *Type*ium-Z. There are some pokemon-specific z-crystals like Pikanium-Z. The z-crystals are hold-items. You can only equip a z-crystal of a certain type, like Normalium-Z, if your pokemon has a move of that type. Pikachu could use Electrium-Z because he has Electro Ball and Thunderbolt, which are electric type attacks. He could use Normalium-Z because he has Quick Attack. Rowlet would not be able to use the Electrium-Z because he doesn't know any electric type attack, but could use Normalium-Z because he knows Tackle. In the games, only one Z-move can be used per battle, so it's pretty strategic. The attack's power is also dependent on the power of the original move. So a normalium-Z from using Tackle will be much weaker than Normalium-Z from a Giga Impact or Hyper Beam. |

| Lol rowlet is funny, he does represent an owl.. sleeping at day :p And lol pikachus level can only use 1 z move.. then how are other pokemons able to? Cause pikachu is level 100 xD that many battles he did lol and 100 being the max.. Obviously ash would win.. tho i wish it was more esciting and wanted hariyama to win and let the 3rd battle be the deciding one |

| The Z moves look really cool in the anime! I like this gimmick a lot more than Mega-evolving. The concept is just so much more fun. |
