Nice bait, but again more closer to Hack sign which aired back in 2002, 10 years before you probably knew anime existed.

Nice try but that's stuck in a game not isekai, everyone knows the first isekai was Inferno (Dante).

I'm pretty sure Kazuma would have chosen his phone over aqua in hindsight. :)

One might also call it a ripoff of Oda Nobuna no Yabou, as that was about a high schooler sent back in time to a fantasy version of the Sengoku period, with his cell phone.
To be honest, so much has been ripped off of so much else already, that I don't even care anymore. I'll give this series a try and make my decision afterwords.

Okay guys guys.. Calm down, we've only seen the pv's.

Maybe try to give it a chance when the first episodes comes out, but remember guys "don't judge a book/anime by it's cover".

Maybe it turns out great, even though the concept looks/sounds bad.

All I can say is you Idolize Konosuba too much, Konosuba is just another rip-off of something also.

No only similarities I see is an adventure harem. Hopefully this will actually be good and not yawn inducing unlike Konosuba though.

Only thing I care is if its enjoyable for me. As an harem/ecchi/romance lover, I'll be definitly watching this. Lets hope the anime ends with a harem and not a overly done open end (I cant honestly remember the last anime that had a harem ending.)

First off, nothing is a rip-off of konosuba because konosuba is a PARODY of the whole isekai genre. What OP says is like saying that any horror movie is a rip-off of the "Scary Movie" franchise, even though it's a parody of horror movies. It makes no sense. At the same time it' also a bit unfortunate that konosuba got adapted so early. It would have more impact as a parody in, say, 5 years after a few more isekai series would have gotten adapted.

Secondly, SAO is not even part of the isekai genre, but instead part of the VRMMORPG genre. Any isekai genre series has nothing to do with SAO. SAO is not even the first of the VRMMORPG genre either.

I don't really get your point.
The synopsis for this anime, and for KonoSoba are similar, yes.. But that is because they are but in the "Isekai"-genre.
I'll agree that this is probably the anime which comes closest to KonoSoba, but that doesn't mean they are identical.

Description of what the Isekai genre is (Source: anidb - tag - Isekai):

An isekai story is one in which the lead characters are transferred to and become stuck in another world, one completely different from the one they lived in up until the transfer. In order to adapt to their new environment, they must use the abilities and knowledge brought from their former world as well as any that may have been bestowed upon them by their brave new world. In some cases, they will seek and eventually find a way to return; in others, they will gleefully embrace their new life.

i would never call isekai (the official genre) a SAO ripoff any isekai anime just cause SAO was shit only the first half of the first season was good but they ruined it, turned it into romantic satan shit.

the Isekai genre is always growing lol. if you read light novels and web novels, there's isekai everywhere :v

I'd just like to point something out here....
Sword Art Online is not an Isekai anime
In SAO, the characters are trapped in a fictional world, which is not part of the Isekai-genre. "Fictional world" is a genre by it self (aka. Virtual world).
This anime is an Isekai, as is "KonoSoba", "Re:Zero", "Zero no Tsukaima", etc.

This anime is a big comedy inspired from other anime, it seems. MC is basically Jesus though. Super nice guy zero faults (apart from his broken melted clothes fetish? LOL) and mega powerful phone and 100% innate magic and combat ability after being spawned by God. It's like Overlord, good guy version. And I loved every minute of it

Seems I should take this a little less seriously. My biggest cripe is that I just do not like the designs of the heroines.

99% of isekai is trash anyway. Konosuba at least is worth to watch.
