Welp... that last chapter feels a bit rushed, which is a bit unsatisfying.

I guess, happy ending? (in a weird way?)

it got canceled... its kinda sad if u follow the mangaka and he seems like to never get lucky but allways doing his best. I mean look at this art style, with uratarou he tried to get one long running series but popularity from weekly young jump seems to be like as harsh as these of shounen jump. I dunno why but the manga wasnt very popular but rather tokyo ghould who is in my opionion not even half as good as uratarou, or atleast its not fair that uratarou didnt receive any popularity despite the fact that everybody loves this art style and its really well done.

In my opinion i just want to kys, uratarou had everything in a story i liked, till this point i've read many good manga but uratarou got me like from the first page.
we will see what the future holds, maybe his next work will also as good as this one or maybe even better/but i can hardly imagine that for myself since it was my favourite manga to begin with)
naybe another magazine will take the mangaka or they rerelease it. many things can happen maybe, all of this was part of the story and they surprise us with an ultra plot twist (i didnt see any thanking words on the last page or anything and the mangakas twitter is kinda dry too)

ok but now long story short.

if it will stay like this and this was really the end of uratarou... then we just lost one of the mangas with the most potential to become a good long running series, it had unique and very interesting characters, the world itself was very interesting and all of this was topped by the art style who was heartwarming but at the same time psychopathic and "bizarre". All thanks to the shitty voting system of manga publishing.

if the manga community outside of japan just could do something about all this, like paying the mangaka via patreon or shit. but i guess ill just drink a gallon of clorox now and end my way to long text here.

This was definitely rushed to the end. The past few chapters kinda suggested this and I'm not too surprised. Honestly, they could of expanded into another arc focusing more on Chiyo but sigh, they didn't.

My score for this series is going down from these last few chapters. Still a thrilling ride at some parts but didn't live up to my expectations in the end.

Unfortunately it got axed.

At least he was able to give some sort of closure even if there were still many things to talk about.

Guess Demon King will have to live lol

It seriously got canceled? It was such a good read but this chaoter was ridiculously rushed. Chiyo aged like crazy.

God dammit. Such a great manga had to be cancelled. These past 4 chapters were rusher and shitier than Bleach.....

Chiyo revived and happy ending? The demon war simply vanished? the demon king kept sleeping? The other demons just gave up conquering Japan?

And the worst part is that we didnt got a chance to see the empress Antoku and badass Noritsune again!! It looks like they were supposed to apear again later in the story, but hell no....we got this ending.....shitty ending...

Instead of supporting this great manga we get 10 billion Iseaki shit every month. Fuck you japanese readers, just fuck you.

ARE.YOU.FUCKING.KIDDING... many shity mangas are going on for years and this one gets axed from very beginning and canceled after a year because it wasn't popular enough?! It got even bigger axe than bleach and bleach was suppose to go on for at least a year more... WHAT THE HELL JAPAN!!! (Incredibly salty because it could be one of my favorites if done properly, sorry for that but this is fucking outrageous.)

Topkek when the ending has as much closure as the majority of shounen series when it got axed and first aid wrapped in 4 chapters.
Well to be honest I'm not too surprised the series had many extremely good elements. But the birth of the demon king felt rushed. The complete reversal of Uratarou's character felt cheap. The whole felt very disjointed. Which to be fair there was huge potential to tie it all together. But it sort of feels like the author was suffering from bad ratings, tried to triage those by changing the tone of the series but got backlash.

It is a pity, though, it was one of the more interesting things I've read recently #RIP

Well this had potential at the beginning and a good art but sadly a lot of characters where left underdeveloped and the overall story was rush as the speed of fast leaving behind it a lot of plot holes.

The demon lord is gonna sleep forever, so that's why the demons give up on japan .... I guess ..... This is one of them ....

The end was sad with that old Chiyo.

I'm so disappointed with this ending... The story and art style were amazing, they could actually surprise me a few times. Sad thing they canceled this awesome Manga

Yo no entendí el final si chiyo se queda criando al bebé , en el final el bebé no tendría que ser un niño si no un adulto si chiyo es una anciana eso no lo entendi. Igual me hubiera gustado que chiyo y urataru tuvieran un final más feliz

Honestly, have to disagree with most people here - the story itself was pretty typical shonen story with a slightly unique flavor and barely worth attention.

The ending on the other hand was pretty beautiful. Rushed for sure, but as good as it could get.

6/10 because it ended pretty well, otherwise it's your run of the mill shonen.

Welp... This is what you get when write a story around a bland character.
Chiyo was so annoying that her death was the best thing that happened... Honestly. No explanation for Uratarou's immortality and even if he was immortal.. Why was he so strong? After reading every few chapters all I had were more questions!
