| That flashback of little Yang, little Delico, and little Erica, made me sad, because I get reminded of how they are presently in the main series…. T.T Erica was such a happy child, when she called Yang and Delico to hurry. </3 To think Yang’s only concern when he was a child, was reaching the swings before Delico… It seems Yang gave in to Erica too, since he realized she would reach the swings first, but didn’t complain. <3 These three had such a cute relationship! :) It was cruel to see Chester’s right arm cut off, and Eva’s right leg… These two must have been in pain!! T.T I got the FEELS, when Eva shouted at Striker to not touch Chester, and tried to protect Chester, when she swung her knife, which hit Striker’s tattoo… And then OMG, when Striker was about to attack Eva, it was sad to see Chester use himself to shield her… :’( It was devastating to see Eva’s face, when Striker and Spas killed Chester so heartlessly… Despite the Hunters exclaiming that Twilights are monsters, Eva and Chester were the humans! Eva and Chester protected each other, unlike the Hunters who only cared about killing… >< It was so heartbreaking when Eva died!! It's sad that it required Eva to fight the Hunters, and then be tied up, for Spas to recognize that Twilights are not monsters. Eva's description about her parents being killed by Normals, and those Normals laughing... This really displayed how much Normals have belittled Twilights, without seeing them as people. :( I love Eva's entire message! Twilights really were doing their best to live ordinary lives, but the Hunters decided to attack them in Ergastulum; their home. :( "LOOK IN THE MIRROR! YOU’LL SEE A REAL MONSTER THERE!” Spas was in so much denial and mental stress, you can tell that he didn’t kill Eva with the heart of hatred, but instead, confusion… Eva’s final words were her expressing love to her parents and Chester, and she cried… That was just so emotional to me. :’( Eva has expressed anger at Spas’s prejudice, and the Hunters slaughtering Twilights, yet her final words did not resemble a monster at all – but as an innocent victim, and human being. It’s tragic that the Hunters triggered the Anti-Twilight folks to act. >< Even in real life, people may not say that they’re racist, sexist, etc., but once a type of activity happens, it could really push them to act on their prejudice or hate. >< -______________- That was so heartless when Minimi answered that he only burnt Twilgiht houses and killed them for money… If I were Minimi’s opponent, I’d be pissed off too!! >< Spas’s confusion has worsened… He watched Beretta and Striker kill innocent Twilights, instead of actively participate. Spas really did rely on Maverick…. Did Spas always run to Maverick when he was confused? And it was sad to see that the place where many Twilights hid… Luca found so many corpses. :( Just how many people died??? I hope Sandra and her teammate survive against Maverick! Maverick’s indoctrination really was motivating her to kill every Twilight. Like Sandra’s teammate said, Maverick did not make the face of a child!! >< Who will stop Maverick?! The chapter ends with Constance’s parents leaving her alone, to check on the Petro family… I have a bad feeling about this, especially after seeing the prologue. |
