Why study biology if you work part-time at a law firm? I'm choosing to study biology because I realized I hate law after working here for over 3 years. My mom is a lawyer, but I just dont dig the type of work she does and the whole lawyer thing as a whole. Also, I have a better understanding of biological things than law. |

| I remember my high school days a little. When I was 14, I wished I would get to choose biology class coz the blonde teacher was hot. Between 15 and 17, I studied Biology for three years. Well, my teacher was hot and kind but I really hated dissecting baby pigs; the odor and the experiment looked super cruel. Looking back; it was a very LONG time ago. I am glad I don't need to study biology ever again since that last day. What do you like about biology in general? |

Izanagi said: What are your thoughts on Eisenhower's "destroy all commies" thingy?? I think it was a result of the time period the world was in. He was inaugurated during the Cold War, a period of hatred for the Reds and overall tension. Everyone feared the Communists, everyone was in a state of suspicion/tension. Eisenhower needed tend to the needs of the citizens. I dont believe he directly advocated the whole "destroy all commies" agenda at the time, but had to due to what the people wanted and the overall seriousness of the situation. Honestly, I say he was the best modern president, but I can't really say that with a 100% sure attitude... |

Nope, it isn't weird. Gotta maintain healthy relationships with everyone, even if you don't like it. If you don't agree with the person's viewpoints and who they support, then try to distance yourself from them if it is affecting you negatively. You can only have a tumor so long before it spreads. |

What kind of grades do you usually get?? Are you one of those scholarship A+ students?? |

I am #1 in my senior class and I strive to gain more knowledge whenever I can. Sure, I have a few B's here and there, but for the most part I get A's. Also, I am most definitely 16 (17 in a few days). |

Do you believe that certain people shouldn't have the right to breed? |

As in those with genetic disorders or disability? I know breeding would give their offspring a 50% chance of inheriting it but denying their right to breeding is a violation of the charter of human rights. Forcibly making them sterile is a criminal offense by modern time law even though it was perfectly legal in the distant past. Although on the surface, it would look like denying the defective rights to breeding is in a way protecting the children from suffering a horrendous fate but in reality, it is also the same act as destroying a bloodline; it is something very cruel to do. Knowing that their child is defective, the parents may seek to dispose the defective child and make a non-defective one so that they can have a successor to their legacy opposed to being put to stop due to laws banning defective breeding. The defective child if not disposed would grow up to daily bullying and also have to live at an orphanage. Therefore, I am against the idea! This is truly wrong!! What is your take on the matter? |

| @Izanagi1985 I honestly believe some people shouldn't be allowed to breed. I'm not saying eugenics, but putting a penalty for people who violate certain regulations or something of the sort. Forced sterilization is definitely not something I am rooting for. Those categories include:
Although on the surface, it would look like denying the defective rights to breeding is in a way protecting the children from suffering a horrendous fate but in reality, it is also the same act as destroying a bloodline; it is something very cruel to do. What is so important about maintaining a "pure" bloodline if it means your child will possibly live the rest of their life in misery and drain resources from various medical institutions to support their life. Children with genetic disorders such as cyclopia (you can look up pictures on this if you are willing to see deformed babies that had no chance at living) or can already be considered as dead since they have a 0% chance of living to adulthood, their juvenile years, or even a few days. My idea of not allowing people to breed may seem a bit extreme to some, but I have seen some horrifying things in my field and throughout my life regarding these things that influence my belief that some people simply shouldn't be allowed to breed. |

| There are more than dozens of sources in Mandarin on Youtube and elsewhere that the Chinese government intends to massacre its own infected civilians to stop the spread of the Wuhan Coronavirus. China is covering it up. And it isn't that the West are unaware of their intentions but everyone is pretending nothing is going to happen or nothing have happened because Chinese people are hated everywhere due to their nationalistic and patriotic and communistic plus unruly behavior in other countries. To top it off, Chinese nationals living abroad deny all claims of their government massacring their own infected fellow nationals and burning their corpses. I hate anybody Chinese that have strong beliefs of sinking Japan to the bottom of the sea and destroying Taiwan and USA but even so, I think it is cruel to allow the Chinese government to cover up their massacre plans and act like nothing happened. Also, it is said that China created the biochemical weapon to attack USA with it but something went wrong and it spread into Wuhan. The lab was built by a French company in Wuhan which is why the coronavirus started in Wuhan. Now, here is the question: Why is the rest of the world pretending nothing happened knowing well China cover up the numbers of the infected individuals and also is doing some pretty evil and wicked things? Is it because most people in the world hate Chinese people so badly their life and death situation means little to nothing to most people? I want to broaden my views. I keep on hearing tons of stuff from my parents everyday about politics and stuff but personally, I never confirm or verify anything. I just don't care anymore. |

| @Izanagi1985 Why is this event so significant as compared to the other atrocities in this world? Uzbekistan has one of the highest amounts of people in forced servitude in the world to produce cotton clothing that people like you and me wear without a worry in the world. Turkey still doesn't acknowledge the Armenian Genocide which resulted in the death of around 1 million individuals. Many nations still don't acknowledge this event ever happening and don't force Turkey to take responsibility for the event because of their geographical connection of the European continent to the Asian continent. It took decades for the Japanese to apologize for what they did at the Rape of Nanking (I'm unsure if they even apologized) and they have yet to apologize for many other atrocities they've committed during WWII which includes: Using Korean women as sex slaves for their soldiers, marauding along the various islands in the Pacific, the widespread torture of many people in nations throughout Southeast Asia, and etc. There is constant violence and corruption going on in various nations in Eastern Europe, South America, and Africa (way too many to list here). There are many more cases of atrocities committed by nations that people simply don't care about or blink an eye to. Why should we care about what is happening in Wuhan, especially if many Western nations don't like the Chinese? Why is this event more significant than any of the other atrocities that we haven't acknowledged yet? Also, what would we even do to stop the Chinese from committed these atrocities? Our governing bodies will only act against China if they were to do anything against us or our allies. We don't want to waste our supplies, resources, or time dealing with what is going on inside of China internally. Why would we endanger our economy, military, and lives of our citizens to intervene in something that isn't beneficial to us or worrying us? The US has faced the hardship of trying to do this before (aka the Vietnam War). We may be considered the police of the world but we aren't about to waste our time dealing with something that doesn't really concern us. We only act on things that affect us or our allies. What is happening is Wuhan is nothing that affects us or our allies. |
