| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The theme of this episode is pretty much the power of friendship. Ryo’s friends form a small army to combat the men who are after him and GH, though they get no action this episode. GH’s own childhood friend, makes his appearance, but then disappears again so that he can sacrifice himself to protect her. |

| Another really good episode, it really seems like Ryou's city has the power to turn people like them in "humans." I loved how Glass Heart got bewildered at the prospect of having friends like that. Ryou really is blessed with Saeko, Umibozu, and the others. Where is Miki though? Well, it was also cool how this was linked to Glass Heart's own past. Even with the life she had she still had someone she could call a friend, and she lived with the burden of believing that she killed him herself. But he survived, sounds too crazy, but since it's a good thing I will take it. I don't like the way he kissed her out of nowhere, or how he just decided to throw his life away instead of blowing the hotel up from afar, but thankfully Ryou saved him! Ryou is being so cool it's hard to believe he is the same mokkori disgrace from City Hunter. I hope her friend will truly become part of their team, he pretty much has the same background, and also deserves a second chance in life. |
