 Aniplex opened an official website for a television anime based on Yasutaka Tsutsui's mystery novel Fugou Keiji (The Millionaire Detective) on Thursday. Titled Fugou Keiji Balance:Unlimited, the anime will premiere in April 2020 on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block. The main cast, staff, a key visual (pictured), and a promotional video were also unveiled.Synopsis Daisuke Kanbe, a detective with extraordinary assets, is assigned to the Modern Crime Prevention Headquarters, where only those who have caused problems for the Metropolitan Police Department are sent. There, Daisuke is partnered with Haru Katou. Haru is repulsed by Daisuke's material ways, believing that money isn't everything. Challenging mysteries unfold in front of the two detectives, and they must work together to solve them. Yuusuke Oonuki, a stage actor and dancer, lands his first anime voice acting role as Daisuke Kanbe. Veteran voice actor Mamoru Miyano (Chihayafuru) will play Haru Katou. | Quite a few mystery novels/manga being adapted this year. This again looks interesting, and if Cloverworks are doing it I'll probably check it out. |

| Decent staff, that's for sure. We'll get something at least average from this anime I hope. But this news moderator (vanillaguard) is certainly funny, isn't he? Out of all the shows the "veteran voice actor" Mamoru Miyano took part in, he had to bring up Chihayafuru -.- |

| I suppose we will have to see how it does in popularity. These sorts of thing tend to be really good but don't garner too much attention which is a shame. |
