| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Sigh, this anime still tries to push the emotions of the characters, specifically Kaname now since one of his friends got tragically involved. It's the same shit I've seen so many times in this anime up to this point now. The storytelling and drama or whatever is all over the place. Now they're aiming for some sort of revenge plot. This episode and show imo up to this point has been garbage and I can't see it redeem itself anyway in the finale. One more to go. |

| Fuck yea it’s Friday that means it’s time for my fave show of the season. Yea, fuck Wang. All my homies hate wang. What a deplorable PoS. Shinozuka deserved so much better, I was looking forward to him joining the group and being a powerful ally. Kaname is going to explode after that, no doubt. Can't wait for next ep. So players can use their sigils and abilities outside of the game, it makes me wonder what really is DG and who created it, there's definitely much more to it. Doubt the anime will get to it in 2 eps so I'll have to buy the manga With 2 eps to go, I can definitely say DG is the show I look forward to the most every week. I think the premise, world and characters are all top notch and it just feels fresh and fun every episode. It's criminal how slept on it is and a 7.3 on MAL is tragic. |

| The raid was a success but damn Kaname's friend died and the post credit scene was lit. Kaname just shot that guy in an instant. | Kaname shot that annoying guy in an instant. Will we see a badass Kaname? I said this before but Wang's needs to be taken down. I'm guessing Kaname's privilege from winning the previous event is for gamers' bodies not disappearing after they die. I mean Shinozuka's body didn't disappear even though he joined Darwin's Game. |

| It was kinda obvious that Shinozuka was gonna die but it's a damn shame cause he had a fucking awesome Sigil. Kaname's thrown his own moral code away; first kill and I reckon definitely not the last... I can see him losing his shit and becoming one badass of a D-Game Player! |

| So Kaname's friend didn't make it :( Rescue operation not a success.. After he got his power, I honestly thought he would survive it... Kaname just killed the annoying dude in the post-credit scene! 1 more week till it's over, I am looking forward to Wang's end! |

| Damm that text was just a wall of emoji's. Though we managed to reduce the 8th's strength substantially the losses that Kaname and his clan took sure was heavy. Back in the real though Wang and his cronies sure did a number on Kaname's friend. The hostage rescue mission though sure added some tension to this ep though. Its scary to think that the eight's power even allows them to fight against the police in the real as well. Inukai's fight against Karate sure was interesting pitting sheer speed over strength. Still what Wang ended up doing to Kaname's friend though was just shocking. As if death wasn't bad enough he had to chop him up as well. Wang is truly a psycho. Overall an interesting ep that while lacking in action made its primary focus on setting up the scene for the final confrontation between Kaname and Wang with his brutal killing of Kaname's friend as the centrepiece of this aspect. Looking forward to seeing Kaname tear this scumbag apart next ep. |

I get he was trying to be hopeful that his friend would escape with his power. But that power could've been something shit. Too risky of a plan honestly. Bad move. |

| Ok, Shuka uses her Sigil to give dude a cellphone, but she doesn't use it to retrieve said dude lmao Well, Kaname snapped. I'm glad, the "I don't kill anyone" type of MC is utterly boring. If this change is permanent... damn, that's actually something very positive from this garbo since it had a proper build up. You can't go around not killing anyone in a survival game, there's always one asshole. |

| I didn't see that coming, totally unspected death and a cruel loss for the MC who is about to go in full 'anakin Vs. younglings' against those bastards from 8. Last 2 episodes have been really good, I hope the finale be superior and finishes properly one of the best animes of the season. |
| Next week episode is already going to be the last one... A great 10th, the war really began and it won't be achieved without the annihilation of one clan. One pacifist leader probably realized there's a time for violence and blood and this time has come ! |

This anime is basically a 12 eps. show with just the first one being double length. Absolutely loved how Shuka just gave Kaname's friend the cellphone but didn't help him escape through the roof while the others weren't watching xD Well... and here I thought Shinozuka would make the difference for the chubby characters in this kind of shows... but guess not. | It would have been cool to see Shinozuka join the group since he had a pretty cool Sigil, but I guess his death was needed for Kaname to finally scrap his no kill policy. The final episode will probably be filled with carnage. |
| People on MAL refuse to actually enjoy watching anime. Your taste in anime isn't a personality trait. Take me back to the days before MAL became infested with Twitter's favorite buzzwords. |
| The lack of proper characterization and build up in this adaptation made this episode lose most of the impact and proper shock that the manga counterpart (source material) had, which is a shame, as they will also likely solve the entire rest of this arc by the next episode and I cannot imagine it not being rushed. So much wasted potential in this anime. I also thought at first that the character design wouldn't bother me as much, but it really can't compare to the smooth art of the manga which details quite well the characters every expression without feeling any particularly... generic? Mentioning that in here, as it is another element that makes some deliveries not hit as well either. Yet again, if you are liking what you are watching in here or feels like it's lacking despite being interesting, I really, really recommend checking the manga out, it's legitimately solid in most regards when it comes to a series of this genre (Death Game/Battle Royale). Also, if they ever decide to make a season 2 for this, the omission of the investigation team storyline will create huge holes especially since this was to be their first direct interaction with the Ravens (of course not counting them visiting Kaname early on nor the Detective giving Kaname the diamond ring in the first event arc, rather than it conviniently just popping up in the building in their moment of most need). 2,5/5 |

| This is pretty nit picky but it's pretty stupid how the cops were getting mowed down by machine guns despite holding riot shields... At least they explained why they weren't back. Anyway shame dude died after having a pretty cool ability. Kaname is gone rage mode now. |
