Yeah, as an anime-only, that is probably the first thing to come to mind. I hope they don't cut Fortuna's crucial dialogues on Emilia's parents in the next episode. Especially the part where she distinctly says Emilia's mother was a human and father was an elf.

From the perspective of an anime-only, there are few possibilities:

What if Satella was her mom, and her father also was a half-elf? Then it would make sense that Emilia is also a half-elf.
What if Emilia is a quarter, not half? Emilia didn't know that she was half -- Melakuera & Puck told her that in Frozen Bond. What if they lied/didn't know the truth themself?

Anyway, the next episode should hopefully clear things up (or make it complicated, depending on how they view it).

I don't think they will add it back. And there is no appropriate conversation to which they can add this. Subaru never talks to Dona. And Satella is never brought up in Emilia's conversation with Dona (something that I found a bit odd).

It's not relevant any time soon. So I don't see much problem with it.

Plus, I don't fully trust Echidna's information, so there may be more to it than we know. I would wait till Satella's circumstances get elaborated in the WN/LN. I don't think it'll be revealed anytime before Arc9-10.

Will anime adaptation ever catch up to that point? I don't think it will.

She's not a proper Witch but she did cause a calamity when she froze the Elior Forest (something the Witches of old did too), so the title is somehow appropriate :-)

It was worded quite differently in the Polish version of the LN :/

You can't control that much mana at all but your gate somehow withstands. What can I say, that's how witch's blood works... Perhaps this place existed only because no one was aware of it.

Witch is not a race, Tappei said no one is "born" a witch except for Echidna.

Witch factor is what makes you a witch, archbishops are pretty much witches with another name.

Unless you are Subaru.

Yeah. I did mention in one of my previous comments that "witch" is a title.

But then again, I don't think we can ignore Pandora calling Emilia "Witch's progeny" and saying that she has "witch's blood". What did she mean by "to make sure your blood continued to slumber"?

It makes you think there's a difference between an ordinary person's blood and that of someone with a Witch Factor.

Does the factor gets passed down to the offspring? or is it something else.

Anyway, I think Tappei will explain these details in the future.

I wonder how many of these foreshadowing instances get hidden due to nuances in translating from Japanese to other languages. Perhaps ReZero is best experienced in Japanese -- in Tappei's original expressions.

There's a one-sentence mention in the LN:-
“There was a big light.” “I came, I saw, I won.” “Hey, a monster’s
coming.”

Which are the lines the Zodda bugs spoke. The studio animated the light.

Speculations:-

Pandora and Fairy.
Something to do with Od Laguna since that governs divine blessings.

Either way, it is something to be noted for future reference.

We don't know, they may change the order but chronologically next chapter is not about Emilia's trial.

We will know when they release the preview.

We may get some parts of Emilia's trial because adapting just 1 single chapter is not common in Re:Zero neither.

Judging the preview and the title I think it's going to adapt two chapters, not changing anything, I don't see Hector being introduced in the climax of Emilia's trial, it would be annoying shifting perspective in those moments, so it's better if they do it in this episode.
