| Yeah that does sound like a good idea, to see her point of view of what happened would be nice. And true, she was barely touched upon in the series really which was upsetting because shes such a great character. :] |

| I love Chikaru!!!! But I don't think I'd want to see her in a spinoff. The reason why is because most dojin and manga material would treat Chikaru very, very differently. It's just like how Willy Wonka says he wanted a child to take over his factory because adults do things the way they want to do and not the way the original author intended. The reason I love Chikaru is because of her personality in the anime. She isn't a "Shadow Empress of Astrae" like in the manga (in the manga, she looks more like Carmen than the bored, let's-have-some-fun-then personality in the anime) or put into strange scenarios in the dojin. Now if they were to say "Let's do our VERY best to keep it ORIGINAL to the anime" & they were to actually work very hard to do that...talk to the original script writer...pick his brain...then it'd work. But it's been my experience that spinoffs usually end disastrously [like Pretty Sammy S is NOT a representation of Sasami from Tenchi Muyo]. What usually happens is they only take a few elements of the show to make their own interpretation of it (which changes it from the original): *SP! manga writers think-tank* Chikaru tends to be secretly helpful of others. Therefore, in the manga, let's make her a "Shadow Empress". (They completely ignore how bored she usually is...she's not really that perfect, she just wants to have fun and help others ....but I think that's really born from her boredom rather than any desire for power.) *SP! dojin writers think-tank* /censored (lol) SO for me there's just something very pure about the character itself or maybe just something special about the carefree personality of Chikaru from the anime...but I wouldn't ever need anymore than that :) |
| Chikaru was my favourite character in the entire show. She was way more interesting than Nagisa, that's for sure. So yes, more Chikaru for the win, no doubt about it. |

| I think Chikaru is one of the more comical characters in the bunch, so if they did do a spin-off, it would be really funny, and I'm all for a funny OVA. But, like someone else brought up earlyer, the creators of the OVA would really have to get the character down to do it, because I wouldn't want a waterd-down Chikaru. |

| Chikaru was a great character, but if I had to choose... I'd rather have chosen more Nagisa x Shizuma closure and what really happened when nagisa returned > Tamao wise. Rather than an entire OVA dedicated to Chikaru doing zany/cute things lol. |

| i think an OVA to resolve the lingering issues left at the end would be better. Chikaru's character served the show well. goes with the neutrality of her school anyways. |
| Haha. That's a great idea! Chikaru was definitely one of the best characters in the series. To be honest, I wouldn't mind another season of this anime. I'm not sure what the story of the new season would be but that's probably why I don't own Strawberry Panic. ^_^ |
