| THIS IS A MANGA ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS ANYTHING BEYOND THIS CHAPTER. ---------------------------------------- I'd wager the only person Tatsuhiko could be honest with his feelings to was Mako. He did say that one time that a man shouldn't burden a women with their problems, whether it was out of embarrassment or not. That was when a girl scammed him, now he feels he's responsible for Ageha being a criminal and Hideyoshi's death. That's a far bigger burden and not one I feel he'd open up to Yuka. It's why she was so happy to see him and confirm he's still okay after she heard the rumors and he cut off contact with her in his awful mental state. I'm sure he couldn't act normal for awhile. Yuka loves helping people it seems, she was mothering that one poor yakuza fellow and she wants to do the same with Tatsuhiko, "why didn't you tell me anything?", she asks, while clearing keeping her own burdens inside herself. I remember all those sad looks and problems she had, things certainly aren't easy for her either! And to be fair Tatsuhiko isn't the same as he was. He is on the surface but he's been damaged. He doubts what he can do, he questions himself, and he's struggling to move on step by step. I do understand however his good heart and straight forward nature are still there and that's why Yuka fostered such a kind relationship with him. And their relationship is darn sweet, it's one of mutual respect and kindness, unlike any other scout-girl relationship we've really seen before. As for those kinds of relationships, I was shocked to see Ide in such a good light after last chapters events. He literally raped a girl with the excuse "you do this for your job" and she yelled to stop. It doesn't matter if the result wasn't as horrible as it could have been for her, he manipulated and raped her. Yet, when Tatsuhiko saw him in the hospital and he was so happy to see them I couldn't help but find him cute! His injured look is kawaii. I suppose I'd say his personality is not too specific to him, he views women as objects for his desire and that's how many scouts do, for their desires and for their money. He's emotional and straight forward and quite simple minded like Tatsuhiko, just he's even happier than him most of the time and we haven't seen him have any serious values! As if he just wants to get through life hedonistically. I suppose Tatsuhiko only saw him taking the girl as them taking Seki's girl as the result only seemed gruesome for Ide but I'm sure if Tatsuhiko knew the actual reality of the situation he'd be mad. The suit scene was great, those white suits were canonical! Also, I loved Yuka's line "you've got a hole in your armpit". P.S. I look forward to a new Tatsuhiko character design with his new suit. :O Although, I'll miss the one Mako got him. |
