| I don't understand the timeline. The first OVA takes place at end of 19th century. And this in 1958. And China-san appears here ??? Assuming she was, at best, 20 years old at first OVA, in 1958 she should be quite old. She appears young here. |

| The artwork and animation are really nice, but the overall story is quite dull and it has very little connection to the first anime. Also some elements of this anime are just downright frustrating to me. |
