Jennifer's decision to withdraw from the Grand Festival was a big shock to everyone, especially Hina, who was supposed to challenge and surpass her. She took the surprising news pretty heavily. She even hurt her ankle during her practice.

At first I was scared when she stepped on stage, but thanks to her backup choreography, she did a solid performance.

I have to say that was my favorite performance so far in this show. Those breakdance moves looked so cool! Great job, Hina! :)

Allow me to give a different picture. What she did was totally stupid. “Backup choreography” or not, she knew she shouldn’t have gone out there with her ankle like that, but she did it anyway. Was she really that desperate to “surpass” everyone? Would withdrawing from the tournament to focus on her ankle really have been so bad? This isn’t the Olympics, you guys. Even then, withdrawing from something because you got hurt doesn’t mean you’re giving up. In any case, she was lucky she was able to avoid completely falling on her face (possibly literally), or things could have been a lot worse. In fact, I’m pretty sure her injury got worse after that. In any event, I really hope Hina learned her lesson after that. So, next is Matsuri, although I get the feeling it may or may not be that simple…
