| Chunyu had good intentions, but ultimately he forced her to wait and go with him to visit some graves/temple when the festival is around and then proceeds to stood her up without any notice. He could've left the rescuing of Li to his men or even if he had to go, he could've asked a servant to go and inform her so she wasn't waiting all night for him, that's just basic courtesy. She's rightfully angry and the whole day goes by without a single apology to show for it too. He does make up for it, but I honestly don't think the chemistry is there and she is only really attracted because of his looks too.... The overall plot this episode is really weak though, even with the cooking stuff. The idea of this dude starving to death and puking out dishes that are not too his taste is silly. It's one thing to not like a few dishes, but I highly doubt he couldn't find anything remotely palatable especially given how hungry he was and how good of a chef our MC supposedly is. |
