Well, we get a glimpse of Subaru's room back in the real world. And we can already infer some things about him. Made this post to list such small things/details which might otherwise go unnoticed. I think this will be fun to do given that next episode we might find out more stuff.

1. The most interesting thing I noticed was the posters and figurines. Notice how literally ALL of them are silver-haired like Emilia. He collected so many silver-haired merchandises in his real world. So, turns out Subaru had a thing for silver-hair even before he was summoned here. Haha.

2. In the third pic, we see a book with the English title "Micelangelo". I googled this and turns out he is some famous (real) guy, Wikipedia says:-
Michelangelo di Lodovico Buonarroti Simoni, known best as simply Michelangelo, was an Italian sculptor, painter, architect and poet of the High Renaissance born in the Republic of Florence, who exerted an unparalleled influence on the development of Western art
Soo, it could mean Subaru was interested in art, painting etc?

Back in my childhood, people would say without to think that Michelangelo (Michael-Angel btw) is a Ninja turtle.

But it was long time ago and maybe this reference is lost.

Edit:

Just noticed it now, it is "MICELANGELO" in the book spine.

WTF! is the rat of Renaissance?

It is i beyond engrish now, hard to believe that JP was able to produce JoJo 5.

Btw, i was re:reading the light novel now and i also noticed that these AF dolls, the poster of Gakusen Toshi Asterisk - Vol.2 and the "mice"langelo book are exclusive (easter eggs) from the animation.

This is Subaru's room in the Light Novel:

As you can see, there are some random posters of Silver Haired girls, but no Action Figure.

I mean, actually there is one AF doll.....

Which is... a maid.... of BLUE HAIR?!

OH ANIME, REALLY?? COME ON!!

This is basic stuff, nothing is new here. Animators tend to use reference of other LNs series for the background. It happened with various anime. Of course, it has nothing to do with the original source as shown by another mal user.

In the 2nd picture, the image referring to the LNs for Absolute Due and The Asterisk War.

This is definitely my first time seeing someone who doesn't know Michelangelo lmao.

I'm curious to see how subaru ended up on his bed instead of where he was in the real world when he got transported.
This anime shit is addictive

Man, Am I the only thinks Michaelangelo is “overrated” painter? But damn, that’s some Easter Egg right there. I start to wonder why Subaru loves reading books too.

If you didn't watched yet, don't expect much from Absolute Duo, it is pretty basic and cliche. You can still have fun with tho.

The short haired girl looks like Siesta from 'The Detective is Already Dead'!
