| So i think most of this anime is similar to danganronpa with friends being captured somewhere and then they had to play a game and all. Also like danganronpa they have a teddy bear as host. For me danganronpa is my favourite anime so do you think it can give the same amount of enjoyment as it or do you think it's a different type of show.. |

It’s my favourite franchise because of the games but the anime adaptation is kinda shit don’t you think? i am not into the games so i have only watched the anime and maybe because you can compare between games and anime that's why you are saying anime is bad adaptation but for an anime only it's animation style is different and catchy and the setting of anime was also good with interesting story arcs... |

However Liar Game is with adults, this is just with students. I like the tension isn't from life/death situations but more so from the loss of trust. Oh my god, I love that you have referenced the Prisoner's Dilemma, not enough people know about it or game theory! But yes, this anime/manga heavily falls into those realms. I still need to play VLR but I have played the other doors games! |
