I'm at episode 12, Is there still a hope for me to like this anime?

I once thought that this anime will definitely break into my top 20 of all time. But it falls short. I felt like they rush this series to fit the story in 24 episodes. It is lacking in character development, for me. Should I continue?

Well personally I’d say yes because I more or less liked it from the get go but it’s entirely personal preference I’d say there is still a chance yes but not sure how big of a chance

For me it was the adventure that is full with emotions the two girls took. There are a lot of things you can relate to; like your goals and the detours you encounter along the way, the love of mother, friendship or living as how people want you to live. They told everything through music. And if those didn't get to you, i guess you don't have to continue watching.

Idk. For me the story started very well but it just got worse and worse. It felt rushed and that political drama at the end just killed the show for me. I’d say keep watching though. And if by the end you still didn’t like it, give it a low rank or something

The second half is even worse, both in terms of character and plot, not to mention an even worse pace. Don't bother, you could go through an entire other show in the time it'd take you to slog through to the end of this one.

Well I for one already loved Lain.

Thanks for expressing your thoughts everyone! Now, I'm more confuse because of the mix opinion, lol. I'll try to watch the next two episodes. If it still didn't click, that's probably the time to stop it.

I'd say watch the rest. Even if u don't end up caring about the rest u can say u watched it all and be able to talk to people about your opinions on it.

I personally loved the anime and the very last ep was amazing... but I think that since you haven't enjoyed it that much yet you won't get that same feeling at the end. but definitely watch it, then u can say u fully watched it and didn't like it XD.

I feel like the second half of carol and Tuesday is just a bit worse than The first part, I love both with all of my heart but I do believe if you didn’t like it in the first half you probably won’t like next the half but it is always up for interpretation, if you’re not having fun with the show than I’d suggest dropping but that’s just me, if you do continue I do hope you find something you really like about it
