| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- The storyline so far has been rather preachy with poor Pollyanna being told off for what I thought were very minor things. I'm glad (no pun intended) the glad game was talked about in the first episode, happy they didn't miss that out from the Book/Movie. Not sure how true this will be to the book but we will soon see... |
| And here we go, another WMT series. It's impossible not loving Pollyanna as soon as she's introduced, she's so cute and full of life. Can't say the same for the Whites though, argueing heatedly in front of her, and the old lady wants to teach her manners using the fallacy that she won't be a real lady if she doesn't know how to do certain activities. Let the girl be happy! And I read that her father died when I was searching about the series, but I didn't imagined it would be so early... Let's see how the little girl will react, it's gonna be tough to "find something to be glad, no matter the circumstances"... |
