it hasn't been announced but theres a high chance of one, theres enough money and enough manga source to make a season 2 so id say just be patient and it'll be announced Soon, in the meantime i recommend you read the manga as it is very good

a lot of anime adaptations are only for advertising the manga they’re animating. they skipped a vital arc in the anime which indicates that they wont be making a season two. so, I would say that the chances aren’t all that great

The chances are very low since they skipped a major arc in season 1, there are enough manga content to make a second season but if they adapted that major arc it would still be unfinished, and if they didn't i seriously don't remember I paused the manga for some time to stack some chapters (it's a monthly mangá) but It would probably be bad. The more time passes greater are the chances of a second season, this chances exponentially increase once the manga enters the final arc but since I don't know where It is right now i think it will not be anytime soon.

Exactly all anime is manga promotion … but it all depends on the popularity and the studios

I love how confident some people are at assuming if some thing will or will not get a second season LOL No one here knows that…

For example look at the devil is a part time worker
That was released 10 years ago

And guess what there’s a second season… conning up next month

So you never know..

Some anime get no second seasons while others get 3-4 and more

Look at one piece for example…

I was also wondering about this although I thought maybe they skipped it as they wanted to keep the anime more light hearted?

Manga is very popular in both Japan and the west. So there will be a continuation of the anime evantually, but the real question is when it will come out. The manga has at least 3 years imo, but it may take 5, 10 years for the anime to continue.
