I've watched enough anime to recognize the word Teikoku. Used in Raitei for Lightning Emperor as well.

Yes you are right, but a lot of anime change titles when they come to the west, I don't know why though

It's just localization at work, Like Attack on Titan for example, it's actual translation is "Attacking Titan", and another good example would be Classroom of the Elite where the actual translation is "Welcome to the classroom of supreme ability"

I think it's closer to "Attack Of The Giants.". No pre-Olympian gods from the Greek Mythology here.

Sometimes the exact translation sounds weird, so they try to make it sound cooler, for the West

The literal translation of Shingeki no Kyojin is 'The Attack Titan'. Like, Yoroi no Kyojin means 'Armored Titan' and Megata no kyojin means 'Female Titan'.

Kyojin means giant tho, not titan...the Titans are a specific type of mythological giants.

Oops my bad. Yeah but you get the point. The title is the name of Eren's titan.
