Personally, I first watched the anime and then I went straight to the manga (to the corresponding chapter) but if what we saw in the anime is really what happened after Rudeus' accident in the other world, it would mean that she's wrong! In the anime the policemen/people who were looking for who was present after the accident did ask "Is that one of the other 2 kids who are missing!" and how there were 3 of them in front of the pedestrian crossing. |

| @PedroKarim64 The anime changed what happened for more of a dramatic effect, and the manga is closer to the novel though it isn't as clear. Rudeus's past self was able to save one of the boys by throwing him out of the war, though this did cause Rudeus to get hit by the truck. The girl and the other boy were still in the path of the truck, but the novel also describes a bright light and loud sound before he got hit. What happened is still a mystery at this point, and I haven't finished the novels so I don't know if it gets answered in the future but I bet it will. |
