This show was at an 8.84 just a few days after the finale and now it dropped down to a 8.78 in just a day or 2, what happened?
| Lol, bro, why are you jumping to conclusions? It's just that the total score updates after the series ends, and when people mark it as "completed" with the final score, so the overall score decreases/increases. Most people don't rate when the show is airing. |

| You had people like me who’s score was inflating that number at first, I’m a manga reader who had it rated at 10 since the first episode. Once it finished, everyone entered their final scores which inevitably dropped the score. |
| Many people wait for the show to end to give it a score. Thats why it mostly changes a lot after it ends. |
If you enjoyed the time you wasted, then its not a waste of time.  |

| That is pretty normal I feel like. alot of people who loved and anticipated the show gave it a 9 or 10 score immediatly, while people who were more reserved with their scores wait until the show is over. |

I can see how people think the time in the village was too long, but it was introducing another main stay character, and it introduces a lot more nuance to the Abyss than I think we realize. The pace is justified in my opinion, but it objectively slows down for sure. But if I remember correctly the manga spent a bit more time showing the struggles of their descend, the anime didn’t depict that as much sadly. |

I also think that it would be an okay pace if we weren’t introduced to the fast pace originally. I would have loved to see more of the other floors explored, monsters, and other dangers. That’s true, I think it’s really hard to balance between their goal to get to the 7th layer, with the need to avoid danger as much as possible, and the urge to explore and spend time learning and gathering knowledge of the Abyss. I haven’t started it yet, but I got the game that came out Binary Star, and I really hope it allows you to explore the layers more, and goes into deeper finer detail. |
