| the amounts of utterly absurd in this series; sure, it's kinda hysterically funny that the kid now have three different aerial units to scout the world for those lost stones, -but running his train on water to disrupt the transatlantic or transoceanic traffic is just downright rude! awww, that was pretty sweet. ....too sweet. this kid doesn't deserve that kind of consideration yet! |

| Two new members! An obligatory drill tank AND a cool looking truck complete with trailer. Again, really curious to see what these guys will combine into. I love Japan's obsession with trains. I loved the trainbots in Super Robot Life Form Transformers: Headmasters, and I loved the Raker Brothers in Exkaiser. I love it when they do crazy stuff like glide over the ocean at a speed that can keep up with a fighter jet. Really, the sense of OTT fun and refusal to bow down at the altar of realism and grimdark is exactly what's missing from a lot of modern anime. I love it. I'm all about this. And Transformers never had designs this cool. Except maybe Victory - Star Saber looked pretty awesome, but then again he looks like he fits in better with the Yuusha franchise than the rest of the Transformers franchise anyway. |
