| That was quick! I am honestly baffled that they already escaped. On the other hand many things here seem rushed, so I wouldn't be surprised we skipped some stuff. The episode itself was really good. Emotionally the tone was just right and seeing Raphtalia become a heroe was amazing. Though I do have many questions now: Is she now bound to this world and country with her very being? Can the heroes overcome the rules of the game and the way they are pitched against each other? Imho it would be far too tragic if they couldn't return together. At least she has "just" a vassal weapon and not a cardinal one. Really hoping for some answers before the end of the season. |

| How did that blue-haired guy capture L'arc, Glass and Therese? Neither him or his soldiers seem strong enough to be able to do that. Even Kyo doesn't seem like he'd be able to capture all three of them. Raphtalia focus was great in this episode, and there was a bit of fanservice too, which was appreciated. Her realising that she wanted to be "besides" Naofumi rather than just his weapon was a development that showcased both love and strength of character. It's why her slave crest disappearing means very little, since she has long been capable of trusting Naofumi as a partner and an equal. |

| Watching the Blu-ray, it's not PowerPoint anymore... RIP for others who watched it as it was when it aired. 🤣🤣🤣✌️ Man, the animation is wickedly smooth. The reunion was definitely tear-jerking. Raphtalia's Vessel Weapon was also wicked. Even without the certain level, that weapon gave her enough power to be adult-size again. How epic! |
| It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it, is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service. |
| So Raphtalia is vassal weapon hero in other world now... that doesn't compute how she will go back? |
