I realy liked that, in the end of the anime, Tatsumi dies and Akame became the protagonist for one last episode. However, recently I saw that in the manga version the end of the history was different. I didn´t readed the manga but I saw that Tatsumi don´t die in the end of the history. I wonder if the anime version was better then the manga or If now I should read the manga.

the anime has an anime orignal ending because the manga wasn't finished when the anime was airing

The anime ended before the manga. Anime staff obviously couldn’t animate something which hasn’t rele yet

The manga was not finished at that time, so there was no ending that could have been adapted from the manga, so the ending is different between the anime and the manga. Apparently the mangaka didn't like the anime ending and made the manga end differently (I don't know if that's true, but at least that's what I read somewhere). I liked the end of the anime, it has something sad about it and is not a real happy ending.

Manga version>>>>> the anime
The final Akame vs Esdeath battle had one of the biggest ass pulls of the last decade glad it was more realistic in the manga
Also other characters (than Tatsumi) that died in the anime were kept alive in the manga.

Because the studio wants to make a based move. But unfortunately, they failed miserably.

You should definitely give the manga a read. I felt the ending was better and more rewarding in the manga than the anime.

The manga ending is pretty good, definitely worth reading if you enjoyed the overall vibe of Akame Ga Kill. But I personally like the anime ending more.

you flipped it. Anime ended while the manga was publishing.

This is the first time I've heard of such a thing.
If so, I'd rather have the manga ending because I wasn't fond of the anime's ending.

It's not that I dislike this genre but... to add unnecessary fan services to/in/for heroines
and ultimately destroys her character and personality; their purity tarnished because of it,
is the only thing I hope to not happen to them. For that sole purity is my fan service.

I don’t read the written material, but I like the manga ending better, instead of leaving her all alone again, it was better if they continued together.

I actually rated lower because of the anime ending.
Note: I don’t lazily watch 3-5 episodes, biasedly compare to other anime, or unfairly judge by surface level similarities. With every anime I start, I watch the entire series, both Japanese Sub & English Dub, then judge each anime based on what they present, to give an honest and fair rating.

Thanks explaining, I was really disappointed with those last battles, thought it was cheap to just kill a bunch of people off.

Now that I know it was different in the written materiel, I call for a do over for the anime.

Story wise the original manga is 9/10 times way better than the anime.

I don't really remember much since I binge watched this anime in one sitting from 11pm to 7am. personally I really liked the anime ending as it holds and is memorable
