| I expected that Eiko would turn into something scarier than anything we've seen in that episode, but she was surprisingly chill. |

| I like Ai with her polkadot tights. What I find interesting when i think of it more something most people wouldn't think about, her eating sweets and isnt just meant to be a cute trait it's her trying to chase off negative feelings by getting a sugar rush. You see this supported with how she reacted to doing bad with Keitaro's little game she immediately wanted more sweets. I feel sorry for her and her brother. That must be a real challenge coming up having a god to deal with. I am unclear on order of events though, did her brother die before or after this god became infatuated? Since im wondering if her brother dying was just a normal accident or if it was work of this god. I was confused why wait to 20 specifically but apparently that until 2018 that took effect in 2022 what was considered coming of age of majority was 20 (recently lowered to 18) which is when they can marry. No idea why a god would care about Japanese legal formalities. auroraloose said: as usual Dark Gathering puts a lot of effort into the characters at the forefront (except for Yayoi's wardrobe). The mangaka early on in the manga mentioned having bad fashion sense and asked for help with outfits lol I guess since Yayoi already had a signature look and her age excusing it her wardrobe wasnt changed around. |

| Seeing that God level spirit eating on the intestines of Ai's ancestors was a gorey sight tbh, but I wonder if that spirit is really bad? Like did an ancestor make a pact for herself and future generations of her bloodline? Can't wait to find out. The story just got a lot more interesting. |
| Definitely the best episode in quite a while, with the introduction of Ai and the ghosts that plague her, along with her being betrothed to a god. Getting the sense that things will get a whole lot more creepy from here on out. Also, cue the Oshi no Ko memes with Ai's eyes and all that... |

So it's probably something similar to that, they can't show underage marriage. Yeah I didn't quite get that part right away what she meant. I thought she meant her family attracts gods in general. That may be the case. Though there is probably some in story explanation somewhere maybe. |

| A "God" fell in love with her and plans to take her away when she turns 20. It sounds like bullshit at first, but considering the nature of this show, that doesn't sound too farfetched. |

| Oh boi a gyaru girl as his new student. How lucky he's actually be. Too bad tho the girl has been marked with a great fate coming from the so-called God which from what i understand as being called as a star cult of God, perhaps? Legit that i thought Yayoi doing another catching mistakes. Turns out the spirit actually so strong. It can actually manipulate Keitaro to do its bidding while also escaped from Yayoi doll prison, alone. A must catch for Yayoi then to pursue her dream to satisfy her grudge. However, before catching up the big fish that is those fascinating the so-called God, the gang needs to clear the very first struggle appear while learning the truth about the gyaru girl situation. Which, depends on the situation, may create a good collection for Yayoi later, if they manage to catch it tho.... Do i need to mention Eiko too here? xd |

| There's a new girl on the block for Keitaro: his new tutoring girl Ai Kamiyo. Unlike Yayoi, Keitaro finally thought that he could be the tutor that he's been called to, but Ai's riddled with bad luck so much that Keitaro can sense the apparitions on her. Most likely, her brother who always keeps her safe and out from danger, while she excels in her studies. That said, there's a better tutor, and Keitaro brings Ai to Yayoi for help, which the latter saw two spirits surrounding her to trap the unwillful spirit. That same night, Ai's spirit comes into Keitaro's dreams demanding to protect her, and he together with Yayoi rushed down to her apartment, which the doll apparition takes damage from her brother's spirit strangling her, she is not fully covered albeit with the fact. To say that she was the cause of her brother's death, and even so that she's facing death imminent from a god who fell in love with her, it's that same spirit who haunts the picture of her and her brother, especially given the context of her star-shaped pupils, and a power that s strong enough to defy spirits and break out of Yayoi's stranglehold. To that, summoning Eiko is as easy as a misunderstanding that Keitaro's alone with a girl, but Ai's place is unsafe, and they need to bring Ai to their custody to remain safe. Forget about the toilet, the spirits are already everywhere... |

| This new character Ai seems like she could be a bit of a handful for Keitaro, but with both Yayoi and Eiko to help I'm sure it'll be fine somehow. The situation with Ai doesn't look like its going to be solved that easily though... |

| Huh, I think this is my favorite episode so far. I like the new character - she brings a new energy to the cast. I also like how dark the show has gotten. I'm definitely intrigued. |
