| A little ersatz cameo from Captain Harlock in the opening monologue, I think. Kinda ripping off Die Hard here with the fake terrorism covering up a heist. I do wonder how Melfina's clothes got back on so fast when she got kicked out of her little goo-chamber. Magic? |

In regards to Melfina's clothes... the same question should be applied to her going in the chamber. It's not even explained what happens to them or why they're removed or if they're even really gone. Probably won't ever be either... seems like a random thing added in. |
| Die Hard anime style...with Deadmau5?? The scene where Suzuka says to Aisha that shouting at Gene won't help (after they disconnected) was like a reverse of that scene in Die Hard 4 (after this anime was made) when the villain tells McClane that covering the camera doesn't turn off the microphone. Was hoping Aisha would say a line involving cats and mice. |

The opening changed too, Aisha is hugging Melfina. Suzuka's pose is also changed Speaking of the opening, so Through the Night exists in the show's universe since it was broadcast from the Ad Ship |

| Nice episode! Sure another filler, but we all know the next episodes will be another main arc. Didn't realize this seems similar to movies like Die Hard. Anyways, surprise the glass didn't crack all the way when Gene jam his shipped there. New ED!!! Next episodes are definitely ineresting! |
| Another one I remember from when I was younger. I kind of zoned out with this one, but it was decent. Lots of "should I cut the cord?" standard stuff. The rat guy had some goofy animation that was a little over the top but cool. I loved seeing all the displays in this episode on watches and screens and stuff. |

| Have to laugh at the preview: "Looks like the story's finally getting interesting!" - well at least they were aware of how unengaging things have been so far. |
| It’s been awhile since I’ve watched an Outlaw Star episode and while this is not a major story episode and is a filler episode is kind of what I need upon coming back to this show, nothing too deep yet still entertaining at the same time which I think this episode delivered on that front. There was a bit of a meta reference with the opening theme being played in the episode, very good use of diegetic music there. It felt a little bit like Die Hard with the terrorists plot and the bomb specifically hell I even got to see Aisha and Suzuka be a cool duo towards the end as well. Next episode should be focusing on the main plot next time otherwise pretty good nonetheless. |
