I have been noticing that with the current state of the industry with lack of mentorship and more of the task being done by AI's the old techniques seems to be become obsolete. With most of minor background objects being rendered with AI or in cg, the newer generation are not being passed down with the techniques for drawing these objects, objects like train and cars.

It's been quite a while since i saw an hand drawn train in an tv series, with addition to cars being completely disappearing from the hand drawn production too and been replaced with cg. With the way the industry is being leading, it's not far away in future where we might never get to see the original techniques how it used to been done, as there is an huge mentorship issue in the current industry, will this techniques be an piece in the modern AI era.

Ps: I hope that the few studios which still are following the traditional ways of things will continue to do so.
