With the Blume election results in, Sumika finds herself thrust with being the winner, and does not hesitate to make it official right away. While she had a race with Mitsuki to become Blume, she still confronts Kanoko and apologies for her rudeness in front of Hime, to which the latter recognizes that and wants the both of them to make amends. Of course, Hime not knowing of the feud between herself and Kanoko, Sumika can only tell the former to be assured, while she is not amused herself of what happened back then. Being the Blume means formalizing a new rule, and Kanoko's obsession with Hime makes her do things that are contradictory to her actions, when it comes to love, going and stopping herself in the process. Even Sumika has her own troubles, but she genuinely wants to help Kanoko get over her romance with Hime in the right way, for someone who never makes friends with that façade of hers, that the double-faced outward expression is her alter ego. For someone that will never accept romance for all her life, being in a love-hate relationship with Mitsuki and wanting to repair their relationship, both Sumika and Kanoko were the "extra hands" that needn't have their hand on the romance between the two, and they went horribly awry, while keeping status quo that the love will always remain one-sided and not to be mentioned ever again. If only romance is ever THAT simple, which isn't, and Kanoko freaks out thinking that Hime will abandon her, to whih Sumika frets and tries to comfort her altogther. The official announcement comes with Sumika elected as Blume der Liebe and spoken thanks...and for her to keep Kanoko's secret zipped like a promise, it's Kanoko becoming Sumika's Schwestern as sisters in support. For the first time, Kanoko made a friend outside of Hime's circle, and the decree to get along with each other, that's the rule going forward. An alright resounding close to the long-drawn drama that has taken quite the endless loop and hoops between friendship, work and romance.

Funny how Hime is the MC and she's shown on the main promotional poster with Yano but she gets nerfed into side character role and poor Yano gets thrown under the bus while Kanoko has been hogging screen time for the past few episodes. There has to be some kind of back story why Hime is like that and why she's set on marrying someone rich. At least Kanoko gets a new friends to restrain her from her unhealthy Hime obsession. I'm really going to miss this anime. I'm holding out hope for a season 2 because I want to see Hime and Yano get together but sadly I don't see another season happening.

That was probably the best episode so far, and it's a decent ending to all this drama, and while the show as a whole has many issues, I do at least enjoy what Sumika did for Kanoko.

In many aspects it felt very much like a series finale, and a really nice one, I liked it! Glad to see Kanonko and Sumika got a little bit closer. I imagine the actual finale will be more light-hearted, can't wait!

So Kanoko opened up to Sumika and confessed that she loves Hime but never wants to tell her that. That whole premise seems pointless as Kanoko realizes that without saying it it's like it never existed and I doubt it will come out in the finale. Besides that Hime may not see Kanoko the same way. Anyways, I was surprised that Sumika and Kanoko became schwestern sisters. Not sure where this goes from here but I'm not expecting anything big in the finale.

I think this might be the anime with the worst characters I've ever watched. This show takes itself, and the personalities of its characters incredibly seriously, and without irony. Their behaviours are treated as justifiable, and almost normalised? What the fuck? These people need a therapist. Why have I watched it this far? I don't know, I just had to know how bad it would get? This show is so bad that it's bad.

So, this is pretty much the climax of the series? Coming half way to a resolution for Kanoko and Sumika, while keeping Hime in the dark. Not holding my hopes for the last episode, given that the title implies it will be a beach episode :/

It’s not that I don’t understand Kanoko but this is why she was never as close to Hime as Yano was/is, and never will be if she doesn’t change, too. She created a wall between the two of them that Hime is not even aware of. She claims she is the only one special to Hime because she gets to see her “true face”, but never reveals her own. Meanwhile, Yano is honest to a fault, and if there is any barrier, it is due to how the two of them communicate. I’ve noticed that Yano and Hime are also far less reserved when it comes to showing affection to each other, even though neither would seem like the type.

This has been a great adaption of the first 4 volumes. I've really enjoyed it. Hopefully it will get a second season, there'll be enough material for 3 by the end of the year. So we're getting the Summer uniforms chapter at the end of vol 4 next week. I wouldn't have thought it'd take a whole episode, perhaps we'll get the stand alone chapter at the start of vol 5 too.

I liked the episode but what I don't really like is that Kanoko fell in love with the first person that was nice to her which tends to happen with introvert / quiet people and then Sumika seemed to be starting to have feelings for Kanoko but how much of that is because of how much she likes to help other people and ends up being more of a "love out of duty".

Damn, what a nice end to this arc, I figured the result would be Kanoko and Sumika becoming sisters but I wasn’t expecting that amazing staircase scene, I think the part that especially got me was when Kanoko saw her memory of Hime telling her that if she doesn’t say it it didn’t happen, she really needed to hear that again and it was perfect in that moment, and I’m ngl I’ve really warmed up to her and Sumika as a couple, after this scene I can’t deny it anymore lol. And now I guess I can say I’m glad I stuck with the blue waifu to the end lol, it’s possible more drama will stir because of her but hell, I’ll die on this hill if I have to lol. And I think Sumika becoming the Blume was the best choice too, she fits that role the most imo. And we got one episode left with these girls, since this arc ended I’m not sure what the final episode will entail but I’m looking forward to it!

Everyone deserves a friend like Hime! I love how she tries to pretend to be a bad person, while she is actually all you could wish for in a friend. This episode was a lot of talk. But I really love how Sumika and Kanoko resolved things. Sumika truly is the "adult" Kanoko needs to set her on the right path. But Kanoko herself isn't a bad person anymore either. I feel like she's grown a lot since she started working at the café. With the Blume Arc finished, I wonder what the finale will be. Perhaps a filler, like in Spy X Family? Or will it set up a second season already? I'd really love that. Not only for how much I like the show, but also for how much is left to tell with these characters!

And we got one episode left with these girls, since this arc ended I’m not sure what the final episode will entail but I’m looking forward to it! Im guilty of this too I was even thinking Sumika could move in for a kiss after that hug I was willing to happen since I saw Kanoko really needed a hug but a kiss then would have been terrible timing but still that would be an ideal solution if they were to get together in a romantic relationship since no one would have to be alone. Not that there isn't value in friendships just they dont fulfill every need. Marinate1016 said: It’s not that I don’t understand Kanoko but this is why she was never as close to Hime as Yano was/is, and never will be if she doesn’t change, too. I’ve noticed that Yano and Hime are also far less reserved when it comes to showing affection to each other, even though neither would seem like the type. Ironically Kanoko maybe wouldn't have become that way had Yano stayed friends with Hime in the past since she came first and if Kanoko wasnt the only person Hime had to open up her real self so she wouldnt have felt as much weight on her because she wouldnt be her only real friend. Yet then again maybe Hime would not have approached Kanoko if she had Yano. Kanoko doesnt exactly have a wall she puts up id say. She does put her feelings for Hime very in the open with her once she manages to get her words out, she just doesnt straight up tell her that her feelings for her are more than platonic. If I understood what Kanoko said "Hime wouldn't even notice" pertaining to Yano being in love with her that if she meant Hime wouldn't notice Yano has feelings only reason I could see her saying that is if Hime is dense about other's feelings and needs a direct confession though it may be Kanoko is reading her wrong or Im misinterpreting what she was saying. Further irony how Hime treats Kanoko with reservation seems to be a result of what happened with Yano in the past. She is afraid of pushing her will on Kanoko because of Kanoko being timid and not wanting a repeat of events of the past. So even if hypothetically for demonstrative purposes Hime were to have romantic feelings for Kanoko she too would be hesitant to act, yet then again if she had feelings for Yano she also would be hesitant from their past together. At this point id say Yano basically the catalyst for everyone's problems aside from the problems Hime causes for herself by putting on a façade completely hiding her true self to too high a degree. Though I wouldn't really pass blame on Yano, she was just a kid back then. I don't want anyone heartbroken. |

It's quite nice to see everything going right and into something wholesome when Kanoko and Sumika stops their hate and becomes swesterns which is quite charming. As like the last episode of the previous arc, the end of drama always ends very well, and that's probably one of the parts I like the most about this anime, kinda sad that the rest of the episodes I just wanna punch the girls and the crazy ones because they can't act normal. Only one episode left, maybe it's just a good ending with everyone having fun together in the yuri-bait maid cafe, that's what we wanted all along, right ? Also the episode is called Welcome to Summer at Liebe Girl's Cafe maybe we'll see them in swimsuits.

EP 11 To be honest anything could have happened this ep, orr to be honeest its hard to say, since here we do mostly see whats going on between kanoko and sumika, but hime is like still doesnt see whats going on. the idea of course is that neither kanoko nor sumika is right or wrong, but they need to find some way to resolve the differences(?) while for hime and mitsuki it was more like one huge misunderstanding that they would need to clear up oh, i was under the impression that mai didnt get to vote, but she did. mitsuki and hime voted for each other, but because kanoko voted for sumika and sumika voted for herself, plus sumika closing the gap she actually won overall (even without mai's votes) (im still kinda upset that mai has almost no role in the anime but OH WELL) mitsuki voting for hime is kind of funny, and rip kanoko nobody voted for her, but well, its kinda messy i think i forgor to say last episode, but hime really is cute. well thats the whole point really. it is kind of uh...a thing, to see her change the way you speaks like that i think a point that someone brought up is the anime as awhole, it might have some comedy here and there, but essentially its entirely a dorama anime, so the mood is not like other anime. hime, even kanoko arent bad girls, but its not like those idealistic or fantasy anime. if anything its actually pretty realistic, maybe even too realistic/not enough anyway its a bit late in the season now, hmmmm. the irony is mitsuki probably got shafted the most it is kind of funny how sumika and mostly kanoko, we spend so much time talking about hime, but hime herself barely shows up it is a good question though, imagine if hime heard everything in any case now things are getting really complicated, hurr surprise mai and nene screentime is surprise ok so they really had us(us? me?), i thought they went this far and just trolled/red herring us, but then they swerved it around and they really had sumika and kanoko be schwester like this. ehhh. I dunno anyway there's still one more ep so i do wonder kanoko though meanwhile hime Very weird like abrupt ending to the episode, in the sense that i have no idea what on earth is going to happen next ep EDIT: KIRYU TSUKASA IS VOICED BY KAWASE MAKI?? oh well these things happen, its idolmaster after all

| It's funny. I hate the fact that this show did not turn out to make Mamiya the bad guy in her possession and obsession with Shiraki and made her be a sympathetic character. | I was hoping for Sumika to stand her ground, though after Nene "confronted" her I knew the chances were slim, but she gave up and admitted that it's her fault. Personally, I disagree with everything Nene and Kanoko say and believe, and I also don't support Sumika's decision. Kanoko was in the wrong, and she doubled down by telling Sumika the very one thing Hime doesn't want anyone but Kanoko herself to find out. And Kanoko didn't even sorry. I won't say sorry first if I do no wrong, because that's a bad example for the other party like letting them getting away with the mistake they make. Who's the main character in this series again? Hime? Facade? What's that? 1 episode left. Let's see how this ends. |

hmm... the Sumika-Kanoko premise itself is interesting. Sumika's standpoint of wanting status quo was clear since the start, even if there's added background story to that. Kanoko was always a bit dily-dalying between wanting status quo and not, and it's only clear that she wants status quo after her background episode "because of the promise to Hime to never out her". Kanoko is the true victim of Hime's inability to realize herself here. The delivery is tedious at times, tho. Mainly because we as a viewer alr knew what happened since we're on the sidelines watching from 4th person (the narrative plays a lot on switching between 3rd person and 1st person, bcs of how Sumika is a protagonist.) Thanks to that, it kinda feels like the buildup is too long. The climax is nice in this episode, but from climax to resolution is very quick and hanging as the series seemed to suffer from episode constraint. (They won't finish this story, at all, huh?) Sumika's true wish is never resolved, tho. Since the story simplified it to: "I want to protect Kanoko from her impending heartbreak". Same can be said about Hime, but ah well. "read the manga" issue.

Yep as expected it is cool to know the result of their problem solved nicely. Kanoko share the secret with the one that watching her 24/7 closed by, and trying to maintain the status quo by becoming Sumika sister, which should have they're doing from the very beginning. Alas, not everything can be so easy to understand, even Sumika also failed to realize how Yano felt genuinely toward Hime. Its not easy to become Kanoko to suppress those feeling. Even if its not cool to be that creep, but so glad there's a cool person like Sumika which always ready to give a hand and guide Kanoko may be to the right path of the wrongful way. Wish them good luck, so that's it the decent end, i guess. By whatever left for the next which i suggest kind of a break filler full of fanservice by the title, i can say that this is great at its own way. I kinda don't agree with the haye, even if i mostly understand where all the negative coming from especially by how the drama can be frustrating. However, for me, watayuri is just my hidden gem of the beauty of the cgdct segment no matter what's the plot need em to stay 'spicy'. Peace and out. Source mark to my otw is on the way....

Kanoko really steered the ship on this one. She went from being an unusual stalker to actually being relevant in her reasons for not confessing. Confessing to Hime gets less than friend zoned, and as her only friend she can't jeopardize that. Kudos for Tachibana for being a shoulder to cry on.

Sumika suddenly switched sides and now wants Kanoko to take one step further and confess her love. Is good to see that she finally understood Kanoko completely and now even supports her, she is her other special person now, Sumika is Kanoko's Kanoko hahaha, I like this dynamic. That last scene was very good, a good way to end Kanoko's arc.
