| What a fun school festival. All the references to the seasonal outfits though from the game with Halloween and June Bride, PAKA☆AGE↑MIX with Palmer & Helios with a Daiichi Ruby appearance, plus all the appearances from side characters and other characters that haven't appeared yet in the anime. Even Kitasan's animation when you pull her / procs her unique skill. I very much like all of these references to the game. Part 2 starting out with a sick Kitasan, looking through a magazine of Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe winners, seeing Nakayama Fest and Sirius Symboli among others. BOURBON'S TRAINER STILL WITHOUT A JACKET, and I guess all of the trainers go to the same bar in town. The race we get this time is Takarazuka Kinen with Cheval Grand and Satono Crown. Poor Cheval and Kita though, getting 8th and 9th respectively, but Satono Crown getting the win. Kitasan's face and reaction though to losing, kind of scary. | Kitsan is truly becoming a role model in this show, now being part of a commitee in charge of a festival event. Looking back, she's also made a lot of memories since the season started. She still seems to have a complicated relationship with Duramente. It was an episode of interesting emotions. |

| Entertaining school festival. Probably my favorite episode so far. It was nice to see so many characters. Kitasan and Duramente becoming friends was also a great thing. Congratulations, Satano! Poor Kitasan though. I wonder what happened to her. |

| I expected Satono to win this one which is nice for her and i looked like she was really happy. As for Kitasan my guess is that she didn't rest enough after her sickness at least i hope that's the case and it isn't something worse but i guess we will have to wait till the next episode. As for the festival it was nice a lot of faces we had not seen in a long time. |
| I'm so glad that Duramente and Kitasan became friends. Kitasan became the executive committee chair for the joint event between the local community and the school. Delighted to witness the lively atmosphere and numerous smiles of the people, Kitasan encountered Duramente in a corner of the school. During their conversation, emotions began to bud in Kitasan's heart. Teio donning a butler costume is just too cute for words, and it's not just her – every member of Spica looks absolutely charming in their respective butler outfits. The episode also brought back Gold Ship, and her return was a welcome sight. I genuinely missed her, and I'm hoping for more of her presence in future episodes. Despite the episode feeling like filler, I still found it quite enjoyable. The real highlight, however, was undoubtedly the Takarazuka Kinen. It turned out to be one of the most thrilling races in the entire series, imo. Kitasan showed admirable determination, but Satono Crown unexpectedly emerged with even more vigor, making the race unforgettable. My heart goes out to Cheval and, especially, Kitasan – the expression on Kitasan's face was genuinely chilling. Now, with Kitasan unable to participate in the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, the show has taken an unexpected turn. Now you've got me hooked for these last couple of episodes. |

| Now that I look at it, there are really many characters in the OP that didn't even talk in the anime yet. *sees Spica in butler outfits and Satonos in maid outfits* *d i e s* (I've already seen them in the preview a couple days ago tho, but yeah) 4:28 執事 (shitsuji) - "butler", 羊 (hitsuji) - "sheep" Cheval Grand and her sisters liking baseball is based on their IRL counterparts' owner, Kazuhiro "Dai Majin" Sasaki, being a former baseball player in Yokohama Baystars and Seattle Mariners. Verxina's pitch a couple episodes ago was copied frame by frame from a recording of him. And the stage at the end of the montage is based either on Kita's animation when you pull her/activate her unique skill or onトレセン音頭 - Tracen Ondo (Ondo is a folk song and dance performed by a group, you can read about it on Wikipedia), a winning live from the game! NO THEY DID NOT END IT THERE AARGH Happy that Crown finally won, but this is gonna absolutely destroy Kita and her hopes of running overseas. Really felt the despair in her voice. PAIN. Oh damn, the commemorative illustration has the trio from Road to the Top this time! Maybe the rumored movie will be about them after all. |

| Kitasan Black being called to lead Tracen Academy's Regional Joint Event summer festival, it's a joyous occasion for all, while some like Satono Diamond and Duramente taking this time to recoup, aiming for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe. It was a good slow take of a session for everyone, with teasers of in-game and returning characters in cameos, everyone had fun. Trainer looking through Kitasan's achievements, and while the Takarazuka Kinen is coming up, no horse has ever won the Senior Class Triple Crown, and it'd be a huge achievement if Kitasan made the mark. But planning the event has made Kitasan sick, as well as seeing one horse girl leave because her time did not last, Kitasan decides to give it her best even though she's still in her recovery stage. Lo and behold, the fated day has come to put an end to the Spring G1 race for all on the line, with Satono Crown taking in Dia's place, and Cheval Grand going for gold from the get-go. But as Kitasan goes for gold, she suddenly finds herself sinking as Satono Crown shuts down the Takarazuka Kinen with her win, adding to the Satono Family's change in luck getting first place. Yikes, what happened to Kitasan Black? |

| Is good to see some of the previous seasons support characters. Like Special Week mom. That's some serious body heat, to still be sweating while shirtless in a bar that probably have air-con. That end, was very Uma Musume. I guess this season was too peaceful for the production. |

| It was nice to see everyone, or almost everyone, during the school festival again. This felt very nostalgic. For Kitasan Black, tbh, she was forcing herself too much. She needed to rest more. |

| It felt fitting that Kitasan Black would be part of the committee in running a festival at Tracen Academy. Seeing many familiar faces from previous seasons once again put a smile on my face as everyone were having fun. Team Spica looked snazzy with their butler uniforms, although Gold Ship outfit them all with her sheep outfit, which amused Grass Wonder when she visited the cafe. It also fueled Kitasan's desire to run in the same upcoming Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe as both Satono Diamond and Duramente, which Trainer did agree to it. We did get time to see another race at the Takarazuka Kinen. If Kitasan Black won this race, she would've completed the senior class triple crown, which would be one hell of an achievement. Sadly, it was not meant to be, as Kitasan simply didn't have it in her to perform well at all. Not only that, but Cheval Grand also performed just as badly, despite getting off the line very quickly. This does mark Satono Crown's first domestic G1 victory, which was long overdue in my opinion, which you can tell from her expression in just much this win meant for her. Still, seeing Kitasan's shocked look on her face after struggling so much does make me feel concerned for her. Hopefully she can regain her form if she wants to race at her best abroad with Diamond and Duramente. |

| Now that’s what I call a school festival, that looked like a lot of fun and of course I loved seeing what some of the horse girls we haven’t seen much of or at all this season are up to, I definitely liked the butler outfits that Spica was wearing, Teio especially (I’m not a Teio simp I swear), and I also really liked seeing the haunted house which made use of what I think was outfits from the game, at least I’m pretty sure I’ve seen a lot of fanart of Rice Shower in that outfit lol. But the fun festivities were only the first half of the episode. We see Kitasan get sick and then very quickly get back into action after getting herself hyped about her goal of going overseas to race, they didn’t draw a whole lot of attention to it but I was kinda thinking it was a bad idea lol. And then the race happened, and damn I was kinda surprised by the results, they had us so used to Kitasan just slaying that I wasn’t expecting her to actually lose, and this seemed to really get to her too, I couldn’t tell if she was just emotionally damaged or if something is actually wrong with her, upsetting to see but I’m also interested in finding out why she couldn’t make her move like she wanted. The good news tho is that Kitasan losing meant someone else had a chance to win, and this time it was Satono Crown which was nice to see, poor Cheval is still getting stomped tho, with 3 episodes left I’m wondering if we’ll ever see her win lol. |
| Easter eggs episode: The members from the board on the picture: Manhatten Cafe(hidden on the left), Curren Chan, Meijiro Ryan, Team Canopus, Nakayama Festa, Opera besides IRL&game references there are also references from former anime like Inari One hosting eating contest as in old OVA(and that's why Oguri&Tama is here), Special Week's human stepmom(see anime S1 for details) Gold ship and Grass wonder are together because they were IRL near in Big red farm(and it is said that Gold Ship respects the much elder Grass Wonder quite a lot) This episode includes also the breaking of Tracen study and leave the school, don't know where she goes, maybe local Tracen or common school(There are umamusume studying at common school: game stories comfirm that Anes Fujin and K.S. Miracle study at Tracen only since high school) The different colour of Arc goal line in the album refer to IRL Arc sponsor change: When El Condor Pasa and Manhatten Cafe run Arc the race is sponsored by a hotel group and therefore the colour is blue, but since 2008(?) till now the sponsor of Arc has changed to the Qatar therefore the colour of goal line when Nakayama Festa runs Arc turns to brown(I wonder why Orferve who is the JP's nearest chance to the Arc and already licensed for Umamusume is not on the album). The dark blue goal line on the Kitasan's Japan Cup pic in her album also refers to Longines who is a long-time sponsor of horseracing such as Japan Cup(Cygames don't want to pay for permission of using these well-known trademarks, so in Umamusume they are hidden or using fake name instead) On senior triple crown: till 2016 there is only one senior triple crown consists of Tenno Sho autumn, Japan Cup and Arima, but in 2017 when Kitasan runs the Osaka Hai is upgraded to G1, and this race, Tenno Sho spring and Takarazuka Kinen becomes the new spring senior triple crown  |

Turns out it was "gold" and "time" for Kintoki lol @FragmantLemon Lots of uma cameos during the festival, if only they showed their names damnit. | Another good episode, with substantial development. Starts off with a beautiful festival scene, then we have Kitasan declaring that she will be moving onwards and upwards to take on one of the greatest races in the world, the Prix de l'Arc in France. But then, out of nowhere, it looks like something's wrong with her. Needless to say, it's an "oh sh*t" moment. |
