| Just finished reading the manga and loved it. Sadly on the anime side of things, I haven't heard of any season two announcements? I thought they did a great job the first season and it kept up with other released anime at that time. Does MAPPA have its hands too full? I wonder if they will drop it if it doesn't have an announcement by 2025? |
| Jigokuraku was made by Wataru Kawagoe's production line, which meant it had to be greatly sacrificed as the focus was on Attack on Titan instead. Now that it's over, it should theoretically get more priority now. |

Oh well, they better not mess up season 2 when it does pop. The cliffhanger S1 finale and the overall quality of this excellent series has the potential of being better than Demonslayer.
That is not ragebait or anything, I like DS. Jigokuraku S1 hit a grand slam IMO, totally engaging, characters, story, animation. Freaky island is awesome artistic backdrop.

| @EvilerOnion No kidding, nice, being 13 volumes its a quicker read so it makes sense! Like all good stories though it has a beginning , middle and end. I thought it was an excellent series. The art work I enjoyed too, the volumes covers are awesome! |

Me too I've read the manga online till the chapters I could find in my language and finished buying the manga, I was happy that they announced a season 2 this fast, I hope they do a good job.

100% 2025. It has the same team as Attack on Titan s4. So it's understandable. The production side of things need more time to produce a good anime. Tho I haven't heard a single good thing about it
