| God this show was so dull... The premise was great... the execution was basically... I'M HUNGRY I'M HUNGRY I'M HUNGRY I'M HUNGRY Alrighty, let's pan fried some breaded meats! Seriously... like 2/3rds of the recipes were just pan fried or fried foods I'm kinda into cooking shows, so I'm okay with the overall formula the show, but they didn't go neither deep nor diverse enough into the recipes and they didn't delve into the world either... So we ended up shallow and repeated Near the last few episodes where he's like 'ooh boy I'ma pretend to be a merchant again' and the dude was like 'oh wow, how rare and precious... here's 20bucks...' It's like neat... but didn't you just get like 10,000 from just the random BS hunting that Fel does by accident... Honestly... Now that I think about it... Fel's absurd level of overpowered probably hurt this shows plot |

| At first I though this will be another boring anime.. Based on it is sypnosis n thumbnail pic.. But, right from the start ep1 it is getting more interesting n funny.. Isekai cooking can't be this weird, funny n intersting at the same time.. Can't wait to watch it is sequel.. Overall 9/10 Tbh not many isekai anime got this rate from me 👍 Good for those whose looking for relaxing time to enjoy.. |

| Decent episode, Mukouda visits the bathtub seller and buys a pristine bathtub for him to enjoy the nice steamy luxury of light headedness. Fel easily defeats the Earth Dragon despite being stronger than their original goal of Wyvern subjugation, Fel is a laughably overpowered character but got tamed because of delicious food lol. Episode was decent, they ended on somewhat of a cliffhanger so expecting season 2 soon. I like how the goddesses don't become the cliche harem but are in the side for development. I wonder if the sequel will develop them more of stay with the trio and maybe add another character? |
| And so season 1 es le fin! ANother interesting show masquerading as something while really being more educational and informative at times. This was like some other anime that sought to instruct viewers with ideas on how to cook, or for example, how Dr Stone tries to teach science using the thinly veiled story as a deliverysystem. I dont mind the rise of these types of shows. Most of the itme they are chill, and very enjoyable. PLUS SUI THE SLIME IS BEST FAMILIAR! SO ADORBS!!!! ^<^ BUT WOW... These op slimes have been taking off the last couple years in anime as well. 7.5/10 for this show. Can hardly wait for season 2! ^~^ BE well yall! |
| hmm i really liked this show but i feel like after mc escaped the "starting city" and joined the guild the show kinda stagnated... like i enjoyed every episode but they all felt pretty much the same (only really the monsters/food differed) and life got a bit too easy for him so he just kinda existed. they dont really have a goal either. "going to the sea" is not a very exciting one and not like they are necessarily trying to even work towards it. hes a merchant and he wanted to set up a food stall. itd be nice if he got money from doing that maybe but he has 0 reason to be a merchant because fel just brings him s rank monsters and he gets 3k gold almost daily... and i think he started with 2k gold which he explained to be enough for a family of 4 to live 3 months. he has no reason to do anything, hes just eating food with his familiars. maybe im just complaining too much and wanting this show to be something that it isnt about. regardless, ill be watching s2 as it airs. |

| And so ends another series, rather Season 1. Looking forward to the next season. ❤️ I do like the way this ends with the people of Karelina seeing them off before they departed. Overall a good season with a lot of wholesome moments. Lambert and his wife, the two guys who helped Mukoda with the meat and money. Very nice. ❤️ Food is definitely the best. ❤️ |

| Just re-watched this to prepare for the second season and lowered the rating from initial 8/10 I gave it back in 2023 to 6/10. Yes it's a chill anime, but there's absolutely nothing going on besides them just cooking generic Japanese food, shit you've seen in a thousand other anime. So no world building, no interesting characters, MC is as interesting as watching pain dry, no mental or physical problems, no issues in this perfect world. How droll. Even worse, the pussy MC just annoyed the shit out of more and more by the time the season ended. Also, why the fuck is this guy getting shocked at prices of things when he's loaded with enough gold to fund a kingdom? MC's acting that way with money, especially when they are from a first world country like Japan, always looked stupid and still does. So if Season 2 doesn't change these issues and actually puts the MC in life or death situation, sticking with overdone cheery vibes, I'm giving it a 5/10. Nothing pisses me off than stupid storytelling, and anime world is filled with trash-tier writing from third rate Manga writers. |
