Episode is fine, has the similar eerie vibe as others but damn, they should really leave Youko alone. Then again, I guess that's kinda impossive given her connection with Akira.

Utsusbo has truly became reckless in his tactics and it's scary imo.

This dude Kuroshio folded the MINUTE he saw Akira calling him up. Just look at this dude's gleeful face he had when he just offers up his homies car like it's nothing. A brand new car as well, mind you.

Meanwhile, we got Akira over here buying konbini karaage while on an unofficial assassination mission lol. But you know he's getting serious when he does the little head tap, and oh boy did he get serious. Dude started driving like this is Initial D or some shit lmaoooo.

Poor Youko over here getting caught while her bro is doing all that shit. And MA GIRL HINA WAS NOT PLAYING. She got that heat and IMMEDIATELY put it to use. Though, unfortunately it wasn't enough, and that prick is still alive sadly. She tried her best, hell she even stood up for once, but it was all for naught in the end.

Hina did her thing, because now Akira is about to do HIS thing and fuck up SOME SHIT.

When Sato makes friends like Ryo and Hina, they're not just someone that need Sato's protection, they're not just Sato's weak point waiting to be exploited by Sato's enemy. They're actually help Sato, they even go as far as destroying Sato's enemy plan.

The war between Team Fable and Team Ustubo continues. Youko is getting herself into trouble, while Kuro continues to be Fable's #1 simp. Most importantly, your girl Hinako got over in this episode! She doesn't fall for Utsubo's lies, and finally gets to reap the benefits of all her physical therapy with Fable. I had forgotten that Dio has somewhat of a soft spot for her. Wonder how that'll play into this confrontation. Just two episodes left...

Nice drifting scenes, but joking aside pretty intense stuff going on, this final arc started slow but damn did they go up a notch again and again, next week's is last ep and i'm expecting a spectacle and will definitely continue with the manga unless they announce a sequel (which i doubt since this studio doesn't do sequels usually)

The animation in this story was the best so far in certain scenes. It was fitting for the climax and turned out wonderfully. The script, as usual, was incredibly interesting. Utsubo's villainy and the tension in the scenes were great. And Yoko's butt! (lol)

Definitely one of the best episodes of the anime, every second was so interesting! Akira relying on Kuro and having him help is kinda wholesome actually lol and Akira telling Hina “This time, I caught you before you fell” was so romantic

Amazing episode! And certainly.. this show is woefully overlooked. More folks need to seriously consider watching this.

As we near the tipping point of the story we can make out the defining qualities that make this show such a fantastic watch. Wow.

The assault has begun between Utsubo a.k.a Koichi Kawahira and Akira a.k.a The Fable, as much as the Maguro Group is converging with Kuroshio being the latter's servant, driving a 5-mil yen Lexus RC-F to make up for lost time. The fact that Utsubo (in point, Suzuki) is avoiding GPS detection, Akira can only memorize maps, and drive like Initial D's Takumi down the mountain pass with ease. And this time, the rematch between Yoko and Suzuki in the woods, puts the former at a disadvantage being surrounded by Utsubo and Hinako.

Thankfully with Kuro around, Akira is able to maintain his deception, and as soon as they hear gunshots, the carhorn and the gun used to accost Kojima takes into effect. Hinako deflecting her shots to Utsubo, taking the chance to reveal the true culprit who wanted to use Akira as a scapegoat for his crimes, his bulletproof vest comes as a natural safeguard for any and all assassins. Hinako's push to stand within the area of a minefield as the horn continues blaring, Utsubo's plan is all but done as Suzuki continues his warning for the former to stop provoking Hina, and Akira came in the nick of time to both distract Suzuki and save Hina from falling onto the minefield below.

All players are on-site now, let the final assassin acclaim begin.

I guessed that Hina would shoot Utsubo, but expected it to be the killing blow in the very end. Still can happen, though, but without surprise effect.

It's painful to wait whole week for a new episode...

You know the writing/directing is solid when the pacing can be slow but you can build suspense and tension like that.

Poor Yoko being treated like that.

  • N-system is a Number plate recognition system in Japan, probably ANPR in UK would be similar to it.
  • Though the driving scene should have been highlight for anime version, but they failed.

The animation is just pitiful, but the writing is carrying this so hard. "This time I caught you before you fell" was such an awesome, fist-pumping moment.
