oh! I didn't know that. So they did the same thing as with gankutsuou 🆚 Monte Christo, introduced a supernatural - sci-fi mecha element. Did they also change the ending of the story?
| @ilias23 the anime is 2.5x longer than the movie, so they added a lot of stuff, but plot differences are minimal, and the ending is the same |

| Having just finished the movie, it kinda made me appreciate the anime more than I originally did having only watched it without the source material, I like how the anime's additions and changes are still in line with the movie's themes. |
