Man, this episode was not handled well.

The town undead are former living humans, yet no one purify them to send them into the afterlife

No hint if killing them will destroy their soul or if they finally move on

so much character build for zombie child but instead of him moving on after eating or anything, MC just pops out an juice while remembering the now fully death child, only to forget about it forever....

The author has ideas, a lot of them, that is a good point of this anime. Sadly they aren't followed up, and are just ignored and now the subject is changed, ruining what was good

Trying to re-watch this for season 2, and this episode delivers the first emotional moment of the series.

Rest of the shit is same old, over and over again. Like I said before, the vending machine shtick only works for a few episodes before it just looks and sounds stupidly annoying (esp. with him using same three phrases).

Not like the world is any interesting, it's generic fantasy world with nothing interesting happening. The leader of Fools is the only "slightly" interesting character so far. Hopefully, season 2 is better.
