 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Kei Urana's Gachiakuta manga revealed the main cast, music composer, and a second teaser promo on Friday. The anime is scheduled to air on Sundays at 11:30 p.m. on CBC and TBS' Agaru Anime broadcasting slot beginning in July 2025.Cast Rudo: Aoi Ichikawa (Sonny Boy) Enjin: Katsuyuki Konishi (Gurren Lagann) Zanka: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Kimetsu no Yaiba) Riyou: Yumiri Hanamori (Jigokuraku) Taku Iwasaki (Bungou Stray Dogs, Noragami) is composing the music. Fumihiko Suganuma (Sirius episode director) is directing the anime at Bones Film. Hiroshi Seko (Jujutsu Kaisen) is handling the series composition and Satoshi Ishino (A.I.C.O. Incarnation) is designing the characters. Urana began serializing the action fantasy manga in Weekly Shounen Magazine in February 2022, featuring graffiti designs by Hideyoshi Andou. Kodansha published the 13th volume on December 17, with the 14th volume scheduled to be released on March 17. Kodansha USA licensed the manga in English in March 2023. | This series caught my eye a while back due to the cool artwork and I'm glad to see that BONES will (unsurprisingly) be doing it justice with the anime! This is one of the rare new shounens that I'll be checking out. EDIT: I also like Aoi Ichikawa's voice acting here! Feels reminiscent of other shounen protagonists while still sounding like its own fresh thing and it's very different from what I heard of him in "Sonny Boy." |
