| Sakura is back and has his personality with him although he seems to show even more emotions than ever. Cool to see him in a leadership role now that he's earned a reputation. Very similar in style and animation just like the previous season. OP is decent too. Looks like a solid start and there seems to be some rivalries buildup already. |

| Welp, it's unfortunately back... and hey, no recap, no nothing just straight into it huh? No seriously, do they think the finale aired like last week or something? Biggest concern when it came to this season for me was probably the animation, you know, the only thing even good about this show, looking a bit on the meh side. Especially compared to season one. Thankfully we got a fight first thing, at least they know what their fans are here for, to really see if the animation has been downgraded or not, and yeah, a downgrade is certainly present. It still looks above average, don't get me wrong, but like, a downgrade, as I said. Story wise, no different from season one, Bofurin has to fight random group because plot, so we have to introduce these character that have one personality trait, and that's their whole shtick for every single one of their interactions. Meanwhile, our main characters are still the same as ever though, don't worry about that. For whatever reason though, looks like their really trying to push this guy with a lollipop in his mouth for whatever reason this episode. Dialogue is still as corny as ever, that talk with Sakura and lollipop dude very much shows that. I'll give it this though I guess, OP, ED, and that fucking OST are still just as good as they were last time. That's the only positive here. |

| If anything, the kids being in high school and this having a decent animation to go with saved it from all those insults, which a series similar to this one faced.. and still faces. But yeah, the absence of any sort of authority whatsoever, in whatever form, makes this one just as hard to take seriously lol. Moreover, when you jump straight into something like civil war stuff without even thinking of recapping stuff a bit, things kinda become hard to follow as well, in addition to it being uber unserious. I mean hey, the friend of some no-name guy getting himself into shit and then our boys getting ready to play Avengers is all what I recollect. Seriously, random guys coming in and doing all sorts of acrobatic stuff just don’t raise the stakes on its own. I think this series knew that as well, that’s why they had Nirei do the dumb stuff he did. I mean brother, when you know you can’t something… then just don’t even try to. It’s people like you who play the part of the guys who let hospitals rack up insane bills. “cOOl” entry from Kaji and yeah, now he’ll set these guys straight. Whatever man… STOP WITH THIS ENGLISH SONG RUNNING AND RUINING THE BACKGROUND… PLEASE, as I mean y’all have got decent OP and ED to go with. |

| Mangaka Satoru Nii's Wind Breaker is back afrer last Spring's showing, and the stakes could not have been higher, going into the manga's 2nd major arc: the Keel arc. SixTONES's OP is fine, though it's a decent follow-up to natori's Season 1 OP (which the latter is still the better one). After dealing with Shishitoren, Haruka Sakura and Bofurin are back, but their vengeance brings more hate and rage with the gang that started the fiasco: Keel, to get Nagato back. And to say that this is an all-out fight is saying lightly, because Keel is more than just an army of gangsters with armed weapons. The enemy gang also have their 5-member VIPs (Takeru Kongo, Shiyu Kirishima, Taishi Mogami, Renji Kaga and Hansuke Tone) to face Sakura and the strong, which immediately feels like Bofurin is easily overwhelmed without them around. Even with Nire's effort to pluck his courage and make his contribution, it's the arrival of the 2nd Years that really amps the fight. With Bofurin's 2nd Years of Kaji, Enomoto and Kusumi, they take Keel by surprise and take the fight to them, being more than capable fighters fighting against a whole army. Not even Sakura can fight against Kaji's wicked presence, bringing the point to him of why he would go to fight against Keel's top brass, when he could not fight against the sub-leaders. With shytaupe's fine ED, Wind Breaker is off to a fighting start. |

| Windbreaker’s back! I love when shows throw us right into the deep end after some time away. That’s what I want out of my seasonal continuations. Great first episode back. Wasting no time with exposition or build up and opening the season up with the bofurin v KEEL fight is great, Cloverworks haven’t missed a beat with the animation, or OST, everything looks just as good as the first cour. They went 2/2 on OPs but absolute zero was definitely way better as a song. That was my song of the summer last year. This OP feels way more anime-y but the visuals are gorgeous still. Looked like Bofurin had bitten off way more than they could chew with KEEL having way more numbers, but Kaiji, Enomoto and Kusumi to the rescue! It’s cool that Kaiji is using this as a teaching opportunity for Sakura as well. He did such a good job last season in the big fight, you could forget he’s just a first year and has a lot to learn. Suo protecting Nirei is sweet and all but how did buddy get in a gang if he can’t fight at all? I NEED that KEEL captain to get his ass absolutely wrecked. What a gross POS. Hopefully Kaiji kicks his was into next week! Solid first episode 👌🏾 |

| Damn, that episode was intense, starting right off with a bloodbath. Sometimes I wonder if the kids in this anime are even schoolers. I feel bad for Akihiko, thinking of himself as a burden because of his weakness. |

| Solid comeback episode all around. It's not like the story was so complex that it needed a recap, I reckon, so getting right into the middle of it was a good choice. Some good laughs too, if only on account of the ridiculousness and how it can't be taken seriously. On a sidenote, seriously, SixTONES for this series??? I can't with that, it's way too hilarious for so many reasons. Might be just me, but... yeah, what even. 🤣🤣🤣 |
| Finally back after three whole seasons, somehow held myself back from reading the manga. A free for all brawl to start the season, continuing after from where it left off. Sakura didn't have his usual aura as he was too focused on the leader and lost track of things but that ends now after Kaji pulled him back. Hyped to see him fight next episode. Kaji scenes were intense this episode. He's super pissed off. Animation was a mix this episode but should get better for important bits. OP/ED were whatever, the osts were nice. |

| Yo, i knew this was coming back this spring, but i never expected such a fire prologue. Haruka leading the first years like a proper captain, really suits him. And can't get over how much Akihiko reminds me of Takemichi, without the sturdy part, of course, haha. Both of them are blonde, weak, and bold. That aside though, the entrance of the second years to the rescue was so fire, especially how Ren scared all of KEEL, with literally just his presence. Excited to see him beat the leader to an actual pulp, while also excited to get some Haruka shining, probably 1v5ing the small fries in the upcoming episode or something, couldn't tell. Nonetheless, fire prologue, excited for what's to come! |
It already started off amazing! Ever since Season 1 ended, I jumped into the manga, and this fight was really well animated. Depending on the adaptation and the number of chapters covered, it might take around 3 or 4 episodes. Here, Sakura is starting to show some growth, and he’ll develop even more once this fight is over. |
| Glad to see the animation is still holding up well. They threw us right back into it and wasted no time ramping up the action again. S1 was a pleasant surprise for me and I enjoyed it more than I expected, so I’m looking forward to (hopefully) more good things in this season. |

| Idk why some of these guys want recap like there is some deep lore in this show. The animation was great, i didn't like the op as much as I liked the s1 op. The action choreography is great again hoping to see more hand to hand combat in upcoming episodes. Great start to the season |

| I really liked S1, excited to get more Wind Breaker. And boy, this premiere doesn't disappoint. It seems the lack of a recap is pretty divisive but I loved it. They lay out the stuff you need in exposition throughout the episode and trust you'll figure it out. We get enough character moments (Sugishita brute-forcing the lock as a good example) to reinforce their shtick. It's a show about punching your feelings. We get it. They do a great job reiterating the Bofurin stuff well, and Kaji scolding Sakura for not protecting his people was actually pretty powerful. They're good kids, these Furin boys. Fight choreography and direction was actually not quite as good as it has been. Comparing the brawl in this episode to the first fight in S1 when he's protecting the girl who's name I forget, the S1 fight really works to show you the flow of the fight and Sakura's acrobatics, where in this episode there's a few interesting moments but mostly it's a little unclear, and a couple of times it seems outright bad (looking at you, poor guy being held by one dude and punched by another in literally every wide shot). We got a bunch of new bad guys but their shtick was not well defined. They're sort of set up as mini-bosses but I feel like there's a missed opportunity to better differentiate them. I'm sure we'll get more of them in the future but other than the chatterbox Sakura was fighting they seemed fairly generic. I'm a sucker for fight choreography that shows character and that's kind of a big part of the draw of this show, right? Fighting is communication. I'm sure they'll do more of this as the season goes on, though. All of that said, I think the pacing of the episode was great and they did a good job getting us right back into it. I was sad to see Nirei get his shit kicked in, I was hyped when the second-years showed up, and I was happy to seek Kaji remind Sakura of his responsibilities. Looking forward to more of my favorite cute tsundere boy and all his cute boy friends doing violence to each other and having feelings. Is there a Cute Boys Doing Cute Things tag on here? |

| YES! Exactly what we wanted, shit CGI fights. Only strong thing this series had was above average animation and now that's degraded. I wish they dropped wimp-kun out of the story completely. Every time he is in the shot it makes me want to drop the show entirely. Why would someone so afraid of his own shadow go in mass fights and then constantly scream. Is he damsel in distress? I know I know, he's there to drum up drama and add rage-bait. Well luckily for Clover all the antagonists in first fight wear exactly the same clothes, so CGI can help out with skipping actual animation. What happened to putting the best foot forward? Also can characters be any more fake feeling and two-dimensional. God, it's either ultimate evil cheating faggots with constant insults to hype up the drama or good guys. No in between. Overall very predictable, boring and annoying episode with shit CGI. Slightly above average at best. |

Annoying first episode but I had a gut feeling it would go this way. Previous season wasn't much of an art when it comes to story-telling but it held its own. But if it's going to be fight after fight like this without any story, am dropping this early on. |

| Well the episode felt far too short for me. Animation was solid and I'm glad we dived straight into the action. Show cases all the characters well. I like Nirei too. Having every character a solid fighter would be boring and not as engaging. Plus his inclusion adds extra layers for the other Characters to play off of. Love the op. The ed was nice too. Was a couple of moments where the animation was pretty obvious in reduced quality but nothing that really derailed the overall episode. Now I have to wait a week for episode 2. It's going to be a LONG wait. |

Since the first season has passed only a year, not 10 years, no one forbids you to watch a brief retelling somewhere on YouTube, and yes and in or look at the last episode of the first season and all the problem is solved. The episode is good and most importantly continues exactly where the first season left off. |
